Corrected entry: During a team meeting early on, Billy says the the season started on Friday, yet it was already the middle of June. Baseball season starts in March or April.

Correction: Billy Heywood's comments referred to changing the team's attitude toward him as manager thus he said "tomorrow's a day off, the season begins on Friday", like a new start.

Corrected entry: Hate to rain on the parade, but Billy's special trick play to pick off Griffey is blatantly illegal. MLB rule 8.05b states that a balk is awarded if "The pitcher, while touching his plate, feints a throw to 1st or 3rd base and fails to complete the throw."

Correction: The pitcher can fake a throw to first after stepping off his plate first, which is what the pitcher did in this instance, he stepped back off the rubber then faked a throw to first, which is legal.

Corrected entry: In the scene where the Twins do the trick pick off play to get Griffey out, the trick play is illegal. Under MLB rule 8.05b, a balk is awarded if "The pitcher, while touching his plate, feints a throw to 1st or 3rd base and fails to complete the throw."

Correction: While a baulk is awarded if the pitcher feints a pitch on the mound, Bower, the pitcher, stepped off the rubber before he threw the ball. Because he did this he did not have to throw the ball.

Was wondering this myself as we cannot see his feet. If the pitcher stepped back with pivot foot, he is now an infielder and can fake a throw so no balk. If he stepped and faked a throw without stepping off, it is a balk.

Corrected entry: During the Twins' winning streak, when they show highlights from games, a runner scores a run, and they show the same thing over and over five times, and each take is different than the last. if it's supposed to be a replay, why is it different each time?

Correction: It's replays of different times scoring over the course of several games.

Other mistake: When they do the SPECIAL play, and the pitcher throws the ball to the first baseman, and the first baseman looks for the ball along with the guard and 2 to 3 players. The ball is really at 2nd base, a trick play, but there is NO base coach.

Billy Heywood: Who would've thought they'd throw you a changeup with a three-two count and the bases loaded?
Lou Collins: I bet you did, didn't you. You did! Ya knew it.
