Continuity mistake: In the gag of the photo on the pier, the guy taking the shots at first is wearing his scarf with one end dangling in front of his chest (when he asks the model to be more feminine), but immediately later the scarf runs behind his back. (00:24:55)
Continuity mistake: To go to the place where he has to deliver the blackmail money, Sammo jumps on a taxi with a large round sticker on the back passenger window, and gets off a taxi without such sticker. (00:26:30)
Continuity mistake: Rambo disposed of the underlings, but a stronger opponent shows up. He sends Rambo reeling back against some drums, and raises his leg. In the next shot, his heel kick hits the drum, but A) the drum is not the same B) the distance is wrong, and judging by the first shot he would have dropped the heel on Rambo with no problems. Continuity mistake: When the bad guys bring the suitcase, the one wearing gloves does not finish opening his end. However, in close-up his hand while being at the same spot rests on a suitcase already fully unzipped. (00:32:45)
Continuity mistake: Tuba receives a call for the disturbance at the asylum. Cheung runs to the crime scene first. There are two girls to his left that point at the scene; in the opening shot they run off instantly, in fact facing away from it, but in the front view they are still there pointing - both times Cheung goes past them. (00:41:10)
Continuity mistake: Tuba beats up the unarmed crazy guy. Meanwhile, the one with the cleaver pins Cheung down and threatens to chop him. In the shots with the camera to Cheung's left, the broken vase is gone from the hood of the car, and is still there in the others. (00:42:45)
Continuity mistake: When Tuba bellyflops the crazy guy into submission, Cheung is facing opposite directions in the two separate shots. (00:43:05)
Continuity mistake: After the successful capture of the two crazy butchers, Tuba and Cheung are in their boss' office. During the earlier part of the scene, the left hand of the boss goes from above to below the table as the camera angle switches to the reverse, and vice versa. (00:43:15)
Continuity mistake: Standing up, Cheung bumps the rather oddly light desk, and his commander gets his nasal stick up the nostril. Brief cut to Cheung, and the coffee cup which was standing straight earlier toppled with a delayed reaction. (00:44:25)
Continuity mistake: Tuba and Cheung's partner and bait tells them that they have to arrest anyone who dares to come close to her. During the scene you can see the name tag is heavily tilted under one camera angle, totally straight in the reverse. (00:46:05)
Continuity mistake: When the policewoman slaps Tuba for dilly-dallying during her rape, Sammo puts his hand on his cheek. In the reverse shot you can see he moves the hand away, but it's back where it was when we go back to the original camera angle. (00:48:50)
Continuity mistake: When somehow Tuba manages to ask Joanne out, he at first tries to come up with excuses and talks to himself. She overhears him and folds her arms; the way the arms cross changed after it cuts away for a second. Even more noticeably, throughout the conversation she holds the clipboard with a sheet that goes across or does not, depending on the camera angle. (00:51:40)
Continuity mistake: Tuba jumps out of the supermarket in joy after asking Joanne out. The people around him when he leaps are different from the ones around him when he lands; in particular you can notice behind him in the second shot there's a lady with frizzly hair and a white sweater that already sped way past him in the first one. Continuity mistake: In the montage of the dates, when Cheung handcuffs Joanne and Tuba they are standing at the railing in a different spot between shots. (00:54:10)
Continuity mistake: Ghost Rambo eats the apple, then puts it quickly back on the plate. The apple is lying on the side in close-up, but when Tuba looks around puzzled, it is sitting on the plate with the stalk up. (00:55:00)
Continuity mistake: Rambo wakes Tuba up spilling the cup's content on his face, but the liquid almost completely vanished when it cuts back to Sammo Hung's face. (00:56:00)
Continuity mistake: When Joanne's father sits down with Tuba, in the closer shots his tie creases very in the middle, but wasn't that way in the wide angle. (01:04:35)
Continuity mistake: During the dinner shenanigans, the mischievous ghost grabs Tuba's hand and forces him to do bad things with the cake. In the close-up when he picks the cake up though, there are not just Tuba and Rambo's hand, but a third hand too. (01:09:15)
Continuity mistake: The combative henchman who had the shootout with Cheung throws the suitcase on the speedboat and then throws himself on it; in the first shot he jumps facing the ship and holding to it with his left arm, in the reverse shot he's facing the other way and using his right arm. (01:18:00)
Continuity mistake: At the food market, the henchman brings the suitcase to his accomplice, who touches the suitcase towards the corner. In the reverse shot, his hand is in a different position more towards the center. (01:18:55)
