Other mistake: Lulu's "K-9 ORTHOPEDIC VERIFICATION CO" radiograph report when she was 2 years 6 months old stated "of hip dysplasia was recognized. The hip joint" [other information not visible]. If Lulu had early signs of hip dysplasia, it would be expected that she would be experiencing some difficulty walking, running, jumping, etc. a few years later, but there were no indications that Lulu had any such problems. Other mistake: Different camera angles showed Lulu's leash tied to different spots of the SUV's cargo area and it isn't clear how the rear window getting smashed freed the leash and enabled Lulu to attack the man who threw the rock. (00:26:36 - 00:28:10)
Other mistake: When Briggs returned to his SUV after drinking in a bar, he lowered the tailgate and there was no visible rear window. (This was before the window was smashed with a rock). (00:23:49)
Revealing mistake: A dog would not be able to jump through a vehicle's window and land on shattered glass covering the rear seat without getting its paw pads cut. The shattered "glass" that Lulu was standing and sliding on appeared to be ice. (01:07:29)
Continuity mistake: The patch of dirt/mud that Briggs had on the left side of his face near his eye when he woke up tied to a chair in Gus' barn disappeared and reappeared (in a different shape) a few times (e.g, when he knocked over his chair, when he stood up, and when he was inside Gus' house).
