Young Sherlock Holmes

Trivia: Watson mentions that Mrs. Dribb was the Rame Tep's chief assassin and Rathe's younger sister. Ironically, actress Susan Fleetwood, who plays Dribb, was 3 years older than Anthony Higgins, who plays Rathe.

Big Game

Trivia: This is the first movie in human history to ever to feature a fully CG (computer generated) character when the knight emerges from the stained glass window. Computer graphics had existed prior (Wrath of Kahn), but never once to simulate an on-screen character.

Trivia: After the credits, Rathe/Eh-Tar checks into an inn under the name "Moriarty." Moriarty is Sherlock Holmes' arch-enemy in the books.

Continuity mistake: Towards the end when Rathe is about to fight Sherlock, among several things a sword magically appears at Holmes' feet.

Suggested correction: This is incorrect. Holmes carries a sword from the moment he and Watson leave the pyramid. He drops it to the ground when Elizabeth is shot and picks it up again to fight Rathe.
