Corrected entry: In the beginning scene where Bill Murray is walking through the streets of Manhattan, he is wearing a coat however the movie takes place in late July. No one in New York would ever be wearing warm clothing during the summer.

Jeanne Perrotta

Correction: This is deliberate to show how anal, neurotic Bob is. He probably thinks the coat is protecting him from germs or something.

Corrected entry: When Richard Dreyfus' character walks towards his daughter on the dock, he is empty handed. However, a second later when he gets to her, he has the family puppets in his hand in order to give her a lecture.

Correction: Leo had his left hand behind his back indicating he was carrying the puppets.

Corrected entry: When Dr. Marvin is frantic to drive Bob home the night before the TV interview, his daughter Anna reminds him that they left the car in town. Later, when Bob and Siggi are making too much noise, Dr. Marvin storms in the room and yells "Anna, get the car!" (Nothing is said to correct him, and Bob stays the night.) The next morning, after the TV interview is complete and the camera crews are pulling away from the house, the family car is briefly seen in the left side of the frame.

Correction: Leo yelled at Anna to get the car when he was trying to wake Bob up, not when him and Siggy were yelling. And when he yelled at Anna to get the car he was telling her to go the Marina to get it and that is why it was at the house when the Camera Crew showed up.

Continuity mistake: When Bob is in the coffee shop waiting on the call from Dr. Marvin he chases an older man away from the phone. The rope for the fish jar hanging around his neck is twisted around once or twice. The camera cuts away from him then back to him and then the rope is twisted around seven or eight times. (00:27:15)
