Continuity mistake: When Mia makes amends with Jakob and hugs him, her hair is perfectly tucked behind her right ear. From a different angle a couple of strands are loose but yet from another angle a thick strand of hair is now covering her ear.
Visible crew/equipment: When Han and Mia climb on the tank during the electromagnet race, right when Mia crouches on top of the tank, she is replaced by an obvious stunt. When Han turns around to enter the tank, the stunt's fake wig is very noticeable for a split-second.
Continuity mistake: When Letty and Mia interrupt their lunch in Tokyo, Mia extends her right arm to grab a postcard on the table. From a different angle her arm is away, and she is repeating all previous movements.
Continuity mistake: Mia helps Jakob climb up inside the car with the building behind having stores with yellow signs on. Shot changes and the building behind is now a block or kiosk of some sort with a different building behind. Shot changes again, and we're back at the previous yellow signs.
Continuity mistake: In Montequinto when Tej and Ramsey get off their car to watch the tank stuck in between two rocks, the reflection of the driver's window shows an empty gap. No tank there.
Continuity mistake: Jakob is launched away from the tank, falls on a car and a baddie's car makes a 180° turn to shoot at him. Watch a car on the left, it disappears between shots.
Continuity mistake: After Tej tests the magnet by catching Roman's plate and cutlery, Ramsey moves her right hand from the console to her right. A shot later it's back on the console, and she is retrieving it again.
Deliberate mistake: After jumping off the cliff, Dom and Letty's car rolls over violently several times and finally lands on its wheels. Letty sits calmly, safe and sound, not a single scratch or bruise despite not wearing her seatbelt and having survived by just grasping the handlebar above her head.
Continuity mistake: When Letty and Mia have lunch in Tokyo, a man with a green jacket and a pair of dark glasses walks from left to right. A shot later he reappears on the far left and repeats his walk. Also, most of the passers-by are not continuous between the front and opposite shots.
Continuity mistake: After Dom gets out of jail, Jakob arrives at the race and is greeted and hugged by a guy with a striped T-shirt who then walks away. In the wide angle he is repeating all previous movements.
Continuity mistake: When Jacob and Otto walk together for the first time, they pass by a grey tank and a cream colored tank next to the electromagnets. A shot later, they're walking by the grey tank again.
Continuity mistake: When Letty falls off her motorbike and lands on the bonnet, Dom's hand is in the center of the steering wheel, but from his POV it's gone. This changes back and forth.
Continuity mistake: In the jungle, when Jakob grabs the device his door is fully open. Three seconds later it's almost closed. He had the device in his hand, so he couldn't have closed it, nor had enough time to put the device away, close the door and grab the device again.
Deliberate mistake: During the chase with the mega magnet that attracts humongous armored trucks and all metal objects, surprisingly the people's watches, rings, jewelry, keys or belts don't move a single inch, thus allowing everyone to remain steadily on the ground instead of flying towards Dom's magnetized car. This allows for the hero to avoid killing innocent people, but it's all totally senseless.
Continuity mistake: During the chase before Dom activates the magnet to attach the two trucks, he passes by a yellow van. A shot later Dom's car has moved several meters behind, which allows for one of the trucks to crash against the van.
Continuity mistake: When Roman's tank is stuck in between two huge rocks, the walkie-talkie's speaker's position keeps changing in every shot: sometimes it's floating in between his hands, then suddenly it's on the right, lying on the dashboard.
Continuity mistake: When Roman arrives at the farm, Letty lowers her gun. From the angle from behind her arms are very obviously lowered. However, when the shot changes to a front angle her arms are raised, and she's lowering them again.
Continuity mistake: When the movie starts, Jack drinks from a bottle, which the mechanic retrieves and puts away. A shot later the bottle is back in the mechanic's hand.
Continuity mistake: The small wounds on Dom's face that he get from his fight with Jacob in London disappear in the next scene.
Deliberate mistake: The F&F series always shows some amazingly advanced (and unlikely) technology; in this movie there is a big usage of electromagnets that are nothing short of miraculous. Not only they have a strength that would require them to have generators tens of times bigger than the cars they are on, and repel with the same ease as they attract; they also attract objects with varying° of precision and direction, all by turning their simple dial.
