Continuity mistake: The ninja kills the idiotic policeman who went in really close to check out the reed in the pond, and then runs away. He is as you'd expect completely soaked in water, but at the next cut he's totally dry. (00:10:10)
Continuity mistake: After chilling in the pond a while, the ninja resumes killing cops left and right. He does not hit one with his katana (but he dies anyway), then he turns around to throw a shuriken at another; this new guy before the camera cuts away is simply raising his empty hands to die, but in close-up he's being more menacing, since he's aiming the gun. Continuity mistake: When the cops surround the black ninja 'mortally' wounded and still find a way to get killed, the dangerous ninja is in full sunlight in the first angle, then he's in the shade. (00:10:45)
Continuity mistake: When the Black Ninja in Green seemingly dies (first time of many), the extras are in wildly different positions between shots. Just as an example, in the second shot there's suddenly one dude on one knee on the hood of the car that wasn't there before. (00:11:15)
Continuity mistake: The Black Ninja throws the smoke bomb and vanishes. The cops witness the scene in disbelief. The fat and balding one, called Case, removes his glasses and hat with a single movement. He's still wearing them in the wider angle, though. (00:12:05)
Continuity mistake: The first time we meet Christie, she is climbing a telephone pole for her job. She secures the position, and we get close-ups of the actress. She then begins her work using the box that appeared in front of her during those close-ups, because there was no such box in the first view of the pole. (00:13:20)
Continuity mistake: When Christie's friend checks out the katana, she is suddenly leaning with her right arm against the railing at the cut. (00:20:20)
Continuity mistake: After the aerobics class, Christie tells her friendly cop stalker that coffee is bad for his health. In that particular shot she has a sweaty lock of hair sticking to her neck. In the rest of the scene her bouffant 80s hair is styled differently. (00:22:55)
Revealing mistake: Christie is fighting the dudes hanging out in the alley of the gym. She knocks down the first two, then she does a weird move with her feet on the third one. The cooperation from the stuntman is blatant there. (00:24:15)
Continuity mistake: Christie battled the musclehead molesters and her love interest didn't lift a finger to help. He then abuses his cop powers driving her around without her consent; the boulevard he's driving through changes between shots. (00:25:15)
Continuity mistake: The male protagonist acts sassy about the Christine not liking cops and pulls over. His hand in the next shot is on top of the steering wheel, and in the first one it wasn't. (00:25:41)
Visible crew/equipment: Christie pushes Secord down on the couch, straddles the guy and tells him that he's 'very sexy' when he is angry. Her hand in the second shot is suddenly on his left shoulder. Small continuity error aside, notice the shadow of the cameraman on the right side of the couch as the camera closes in. (00:27:20)
Continuity mistake: Christie triggers Secord's odd tomato juice fetish, and they have sex. She wakes up and checks out the katana in the wardrobe. The sword floats shaking in different ways depending on the camera angle, and the lighting wildly differs as well. (00:29:00)
Continuity mistake: When Billy inspects Christie's sword, he's holding it hilt up in the wide shot. In the close-up, he's holding it hilt down. (00:30:30)
Continuity mistake: The scene where Christie eventually succumbs to the arcade machine begins with her top bearing a huge sweatstain throughout the whole length, but ends with the stain considerably reduced (to be fair, there is no frame of reference to categorically exclude that laser beams emitted from bootleg cabinets possessed by evil ninja demons double as dryers, but we can assume it's not the case). Continuity mistake: Christie takes a breather after she called Billy. The position of her hand on the receiver - her pinky and ring fingers are at a very peculiar angle that she can't easily change - are suddenly different at the cut. (00:33:40)
Continuity mistake: In the opening kick of the billiard fight, Christie's foot touches the Miller time lamp suspended over the pool table, which logically begins to undulate. In the next shot, the lamp is perfectly still and untouched. Similar mistake a minute later at the end of the scene; when she leaves using the window, the lamp is moving but almost comes to a complete halt, only to be back swinging wildly at the cut. Continuity mistake: When Ninja Christie fights a cop who was playing billiards, he fights her back with a pool cue. She jumps on the billiards table and chops his pool cue to pieces till he drops it. In the next shot, he is again holding the pool cue. (00:38:15)
Continuity mistake: In a moment during the fight scene between Ninja Christie and the cop playing billiards, she kicks him into a wall. His hand is raised in one shot but not in the next. (00:38:20)
Continuity mistake: In the fight scene between Ninja Christie and the cop playing billiards, she stops him from getting his gun then she kicks him into the wall. In the next shot, she somehow is again at the opposite end of the billiards table. (00:38:30)
