Continuity mistake: The scars on Stan's face don't look the same from one scene to the next, or often within a scene. They vary in size, depth, intensity, and even location. At times, some seem to be missing.

Continuity mistake: In the classroom, Jarod leaves with Detective Fairchild's business card in his right hand and accidentally (maybe deliberately) left the "Death and Cremation" book on the floor. Courtney picks up Jarod's book, apparently with the intent to give it to him the next time she saw him. Later, Courtney is reading the book and finds Detective Fairchild's business card between pages (like a bookmark). If this was meant to be the one the detective gave to Jarod, it can't be. Other mistake: The object thrown (beer can?) at Jarod from the passing truck did not hit him above the neck at the bottom of his head (where his injury supposedly was). The object was thrown with an arc to give the appearance of hitting Jarod on the head, but landed closer to his left shoulder blade. (00:32:28)
