Continuity mistake: In the scene where the Graboid is pulling the truck you can see that there is a gun rack and a gun in it. Right before they are about to hit the rock you can see that the gun falls off of the gun rack. The gun goes on and off the rack between the following shots. (00:30:25)

Burt is called to take care of graboid trouble in Mexico. Two Mexicans find a split open graboid after their truck breaks down. They find the radio station torn to pieces and walking creatures attack them. They kill one and take off in a van. The girl at the town is attack by one and the Mexicans kill it. Burt arrives, out of ammo, and with a live Shrieker. They discover Shriekers heat-seek and reproduce by eating. A Shrieker that hitched a ride on Burt's truck and eats. Soon the town is overrun with Shriekers.

Trivia: The design of the main arachnid-like "bugs" from "Starship Troopers" is actually a slightly modified version of an earlier unused design for the "Shriekers" from this film. Some of the same effects artists worked on both movies.
Question: What is the name of the BFG (Big F*****g Gun) the Burt uses? If it is a real weapon were can i find out more information on it?
