Corrected entry: The breakup of Yugoslavia happened in 1992. First scene of the movie is in Yugoslavia, 1999. The country Yugoslavia no longer existed in 1999.

Mistakes

Plot hole: Kate goes to Tom's flat (the scene where they sit on the floor, she shows him her scar, and then he puts her on the bed). But as she obviously doesn't have a key to his flat and he (spoiler alert) isn't really there, she would not have been able to get into the flat.
