Continuity mistake: On her first day on her own, Daphne steps out of the bus, and in some mucky sweet on the ground. In close-up the pink sweets is of a paler pink than what was used in the other shots. (00:20:30)
Continuity mistake: Daphne talks to Carol about her dad being her clothing closet and she helps her with the technological T-shirt. Throughout the scene you can see the same extras being recycled doing a meaningless back and forth, and bearing some inconsistencies. For instance when we see her hand the shirt, and when a few seconds later after she messes with the phone the color swatch HUD pop up, the same guy with a beanie hat walk in twice. Continuity mistake: Daphne gets shoved onto Carol on her second day of school. She comments about plum and sage being a "bold color choice"; Daphne's hand is raised all of a sudden at the cut. (00:20:50)
Continuity mistake: When Carol demonstrates the various texturing options, different takes of the same angle have been used, since Daphne holds the changeable T-shirt with her finger sticking into the neck or not between cuts. (00:21:05)
Continuity mistake: Daphne is looking at the bun with suspicious looking meaty mush; in the close-up the milk carton is almost perfectly aligned with the tray, while it's at an angle when she gets bumped into by the random guy (something even her dad could never prevent from happening, incidentally). (00:21:40)
Continuity mistake: Once Daphne gets splashed with water on her shoulder at the cafeteria, she shows up at the laboratory with her shirt more wet than earlier. The water stain is even bigger by the time she sits with Velma. (00:21:45 - 00:31:40)
Continuity mistake: Daphne arrives at the laboratory for the CO2 experiment, and finds Spencer licking a pipette. Which is held with the left hand, turning into the right hand for the close-up. (00:22:10)
Continuity mistake: Daphne and Velma's lab coat is a complete mess in the last shot of their fight, all of a sudden, and it's much less messy when they visit the principal (theoretically they could have changed coats offscreen, but then why showing up in the office with the dirty lab coat to begin with?). (00:24:10)
Continuity mistake: When the Conflict Couch's "extreme mode" is activated, its armrests slide closer to both Daphne and Velma. They move independently from the blocks forming the back. However, when Aunt Piper grabs the Timothy Bot ball saying "Hang in there", the armrest block close to Daphne is perfectly aligned with the back of the couch. (00:26:15)
Continuity mistake: Time to sit up from the Conflict Couch; Daphne in the close-up lying down has all her hair off the shoulders, but coming up she starts off with a lock of hair along her neck and in front of the right part of her body. (00:27:35)
Continuity mistake: Aunt Piper comes back into her office when the conflict has been resolved; Arden Myrin holds the blue ball bot with her hands positioned differently between shots (for instance, when she mentions "Cheyenne, Wyoming" her left hand that she just positioned below the ball in the previous shot, is at the side of it. Continuity mistake: The scene with Daphne and Velma trying to talk some sense into Carol about the Spencer issue begins with Daphne close to the gap between two tables (look at the shot that precedes the moment when Velma clears her throat), and seemingly no space for anyone to join on Carol's left. When Mikayla joins she finds a lot of space though, and no wonder; from a wider angle it's obvious that now it's an entirely different table. (00:29:20)
Continuity mistake: In the cafeteria, Carol is telling the two protagonists about Griffin Griffiths and his brothers and sisters. The hair of Mikayla next to her jumps in front of her shoulder between shots. (00:30:15)
Continuity mistake: Spencer's clips in the "Getting my fruit" show him with the strap on the opposite shoulder from the photo and his actual self at the table. (00:30:40)
Continuity mistake: Once Velma has checked out Spencer's lunch antics on her green portable device, between shots it keeps switching from having the screen part sticking out or being tucked in with the rest. (00:31:00)
Continuity mistake: Velma reluctantly agrees to Daphne's idea to check out of the mysterious locker. She says "We'll come up with something." Right part of the frame, and in the background there's an extra (black kid with a plaid white shirt) that is simultaneously also eating at the table in the reverse shot. (00:31:15)
Continuity mistake: Daphne is talking with mom and dad after the second day of school. At least two takes of the scene have been filmed, because the ice pack on Mr. Blake's knee is tilted in two different ways on his knee, and they keep being mixed together in the final edit. (00:31:40)
Continuity mistake: Just before introducing Tobias Bloom, the principal has blue earbuds in her hands. She is holding them as she begins to gesture towards the stage entrance, but they have vanished with pure sleight of hand (or rather, editing) in the following shot. (00:33:10)
Continuity mistake: Velma places the robot engine below the locker's lock. In close-up the wires at the top of the mechanism stick out in a curve ending up on the same level of the lock's bottom, but in wider shots that follow they are instead folded down. Of course it's just a minute detail when you consider that in other shots the engine is instead at the SIDE of the lock. (00:35:30)
Continuity mistake: It's no wonder that the two protagonists were caught red handed in front of the locker when they broke into it the first time; it was 10 past noon when they began, it's 20 past when they are done (of course it can't be this long, it's a continuity error). (00:36:15 - 00:37:20)
