Continuity mistake: In the scene in Vic's old storage, he rummages through his things and finally finds his gun. The position of his hands on the box changes between shots. (00:56:00)
Continuity mistake: In the weapon section of the store, Batista loads just one rifle into his cart. Then he picks up a second one, but when he puts it down you can see a third rifle is already there. (00:56:45)
Continuity mistake: Late at night in the store, Stu answers the call from Becca. Before the call ends, there's a close-up of the phone, held with his whole hand. In the last shot, Stu is holding it with just 2 fingers. (00:57:40)
Continuity mistake: When Stu throws baseball bats at Vic, the type of bat he's holding change more than once between shots. When Vic asks for a time out, for instance, Stu has a metal bat with a black handle that turns into a full wood one in the side view (also with the grip switched from the very bottom to a few inches higher), and then back to metal. Continuity mistake: In the sequence when Vic trips on the camping tent and Stu pummels him with feminism, different takes have been used, and you can easily tell the objects on the ground change place, generally consistent with each angle. For instance, all the shots from a certain angle have a certain frying pan directly in front of the counter where Stu was lying down, but are gone in the others. (01:01:00)
Continuity mistake: Stuber is talking to his 'friend' and boss and son of the real boss; during the whole scene, when Batista is from the front he has his right arm bent, hand on the hip, but from the back has that arm down straight. (01:03:00)
Continuity mistake: Vic calls backup and Angie answers the phone at the animal clinic. Mira Sorvino's close-up is mirrored, as shown by her hair styling and hand holding the phone. (01:06:20)
Continuity mistake: Spying on the 3 black cars waiting at the drop site, Stu muses about the possible versions of the plural holding the binoculars with both hands. When he opts for "Lexi", he's holding the device with just his right hand. (01:07:20)
Continuity mistake: After the kill that homages Jaws, Vic is rubbing his eyes with his right hand seen from behind, which becomes his left hand in the reverse. (01:15:05)
Continuity mistake: When the Nissan runs out of power, Stu drives it close to the sidewalk and parks it parallel, in the emergency lane. When the crazy villain rams it, it's parked at an angle. (01:15:55 - 01:16:30)
Continuity mistake: In the hospital bed, Vic has the phone in both hands when he receives the bill. Stu quips "No tip?" and his hands drop low - but he has them up again in the next shot. (01:25:05)
Continuity mistake: Vic threatens Stu with giving him "zero stars"; Batista is pointing the phone at him and the tip of the index is at the top of the phone. Reverse shot, and he's holding the phone with all the fingers together at the side.
Continuity mistake: The back, side window of the car gets smashed, but is back in one piece in later shots.
