Continuity mistake: As Keda is tumbling down the face of the cliff, he smacks against a small ledge on his way down before hitting a second ledge and then landing on a third. But as the camera goes down the face of the cliff from the top of it, the two ledges he hit on the way down are gone, showing a mostly flat face. (00:28:20)
Factual error: When the wolf gives birth to puppies towards the end of the film, it is not displayed in an accurate manner. The tribeswoman pulls the puppy out with no amniotic sack around it, and the pups are apparently completely dry or near dry with thick fur already on them. Puppies are born in these sacks that have to be eaten off by the mother or pulled off by outside help or the pups will suffocate. And they come out very wet with short matted fur. (01:26:30)
Continuity mistake: In the overhead shot in the morning after the wolf lies beside Keda for the first time, Keda's arm and the wolf's head are in different positions than in the very next shot which is a close up. (01:02:40)
Continuity mistake: When Keda throws the first piece of meat to the wolf, the wolf leans over to its right side to pick it up and start chewing. It cuts to a different angle and suddenly the wolf is leaning towards its left. (00:51:05)
