Continuity mistake: The driving the truck onto the boat scene doesn't make sense. The truck is seen from various angles and in each angle the truck is a different distance from the boat. Some shots it's about 20m max, others it's back to around 100-150m from the boat. (00:51:05)
Continuity mistake: When Franklin gets the blood from Blue on his mouth, one second it's fresh, the next it's dry. (00:57:15)
Continuity mistake: When escaping the lorry with Blue in it, there is an aerial shot where a guard walks past the cab towards the back. Camera swaps to a ground level shot and he is back at the front of the lorry. (01:06:50)
Continuity mistake: When they break out the cell, the door is knocked open. Camera changes and the gate is closed with the padlock still attached. (01:18:00)
Continuity mistake: In the fossil room, Owen, Claire and Maisie turn round a corner when hiding from the indoraptor. Camera changes and Maisie is back turning the corner again. (01:35:00)
Continuity mistake: In the fossil room, Owen, Claire and Maisie take off running from the Indoraptor and it leaps off some bones after them. It lands only about a couple feet away from Owen and starts to slide, but in the next shot when it cuts to a different angle, suddenly Owen and the others are several yards away from it at the stairs already. Continuity mistake: When Mills is trying to load the Indominus Rex tooth into his SUV, the sliding side door is open. These doors operate on a catch and lock in place when open or shut until the handle is pulled or the button inside is pressed to automatically close it. As the dinosaurs are escaping, a pterodactyl picks up a soldier and drops it on the vehicle, then in the next shot Mills is panicking and starting to climb under the SUV. In this shot the door is closed. And the soldier being dropped on the hood of the car would not have caused it to close. (01:53:05)
Continuity mistake: On Isla Nublar when Claire is running her shirt can be seen without any shoulder sleeves, but for the rest of the film she suddenly has shoulder sleeves.
Continuity mistake: The Ford Explorer was laying out in the open where it was left after the events of Jurassic Park. But the huge tree that it fell out of was nowhere to be seen.
