Rampage mistake picture

Continuity mistake: During the conversation Nelson is having with Davis about spending more time with animals than people, they are walking out to Davis' jeep and there is a yellow pole attached to the building on the other side of his jeep. The direction of the sunlight is casting a shadow from it on the wall. Nelson and Davis only talk for about 35 seconds, and then the camera pulls back again as Davis begins to drive off and suddenly the shadow from the pole is much longer. (00:12:10 - 00:12:45)

Continuity mistake: When Davis puts a ziplock bag on his hand and picks up the first canister, you can see brown dirt caked onto the sides of it from the ground. Once the girl asks what it is, it cuts to a different angle showing Davis' face before he says he doesn't know. Suddenly in that shot, the dirt has vanished. (00:17:15)

Continuity mistake: Kate fumbles with a couple of coffee cups on the counter and knocks one over. Another she picks up and sets back down, causing the cup holder on it to fall down to its base. She then picks up a white cup with blue lettering as the TV catches her attention. She takes a drink and turns after setting the white cup down. She goes over to the TV and sits, with the camera now showing a view behind her and the counter is visible. Now the cup she knocked over is sitting back up again and the cup holder on the other is back where it was. Also the clear cup with a small amount of red liquid in it disappears in that shot, only to reappear again in a later shot. (00:20:20)

Video

Factual error: When the soldiers are in the woods looking for the wolf, they come across a group a deer that bolt between them and around them scared for their lives and spooked. The deer runs behind the soldiers and they look at each other wondering what happened. Then the giant wolf, Ralph, suddenly comes up from behind the soldiers and eats one. But the deer just ran towards the direction the wolf came from. Meaning the deer got scared, but chose to run towards the giant hungry mutant wolf.

Suggested correction: If you watch carefully, the deer run past them to the right and away from the direction of the camera. Then the wolf comes from right, but from closer to the camera. At the speed that wolf is moving, it was able to circle around them and then strike.

Suggested correction: The soldiers turn to face the deer that passed them.

They only turned their heads but not their bodies, watch the clip submitted.

Question: Why did they have to call a stealth bomber all the way from Missouri to go to Wyoming to bomb the creatures? There is an air force base in Wyoming. And secondly, why even need a stealth bomber? they are targeting animals in an already heavily publicized event.

Quantom X

Answer: Likely because the bomber was prepared with the necessary payload, compared to any in Wyoming.

Answer: The Wyoming Base most likely did not have the ordinance or aircraft capable of carrying the ordinance required so they used the closed base with the available ordinance and aircraft. Not every base has the same ordinance and aircraft at the same time.
