Factual error: In the curbside airport drop-off scene, the United Airlines logo shown is the one adopted after the merger with Continental Airlines in 2010, but the movie is set in 2003. Also the font for "United" is incorrect for either version of the logo. (01:19:15)
Lady Bird (2017)
1 factual error
Directed by: Greta Gerwig
Starring: Saoirse Ronan, Laurie Metcalf, Kathryn Newton, Odeya Rush, Lucas Hedges, Tracy Letts, Timothee Chalamet
Genres: Comedy
Other mistake: Lady Bird isn't finished talking about the present when the camera switches to the boy but in that shot her mouth isn't moving. Plus, right before that half her face is blocked out which sort of hides her realization face reaction. (00:17:05)
Kyle Scheible: I didn't lose my virginity to you.
Christine 'Lady Bird' McPherson: Wait, what?
Kyle Scheible: I lost my virginity to Cassie Duvall.
Christine 'Lady Bird' McPherson: Excuse me? You said you were a virgin.
Kyle Scheible: No I didn't. Cause I'm not. And I haven't lied in 2 years.
Trivia: At one point, this was mathematically the best-reviewed film of all time on Rotten Tomatoes, briefly surpassing the honor held by Toy Story 2. Upon learning this, Cole Smithey - who calls himself the world's smartest film critic and is known for having contrarian reviews - deliberately changed his review from "fresh" to "rotten," as he didn't feel the film deserved the distinction of being the best-reviewed film of all time.
