Continuity mistake: When David and Tom, as Mr. Fuzzypants are free falling from the building roof, David and Tom are falling with the building facing behind them. They turn around to face each other and are now shown with their side facing the building, but when David deploys the parachute, he is suddenly back with the building facing behind him again. Trivia: The film was originally written to be an introspective, existential dramedy geared towards adults about a troubled man who is turned into a cat. As originally planned, the cat also wouldn't speak/the audience wouldn't hear his thoughts. However, after a change in leadership at the studio, the film was rewritten into a more generic family movie.
