Continuity mistake: Near the end of the movie, when Ed Leland is about to enter the Customs Office, the insignia on his hat is intact, but when he enters it has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Linda Voss and the children return home from the city (after the bombing) and are greeted outside by Franze-Otto Dietrich, Linda has her watch on her right wrist (as she is a lefty). As Dietrich and the children are heading into the house, you see a close up of Linda checking the time on her watch and it is on someone's left wrist. When she subsequently goes into the basement to look around, the watch is back on her right wrist again.

Continuity mistake: In the scene in Margrete's apartment, when Linda and Margrete are struggling for the gun, Linda's hands go from being bloody, then they are perfectly clean, then they go back to being bloody again.

Factual error: At approximately 27 minutes in, when they part company at the airport Douglas is wearing a Combat Infantryman Badge. The CIB was not created until Oct of '43, though the scene was taking place at the end of '41 - early '42. (00:27:05)
