Continuity mistake: When Snoopy is on top of his doghouse finishing the last page of his story on the typewriter, the page is already high out of the platen with the last of the words much nearer to the top of the sheet than they should be.

Trivia: Charlie Brown inherited his name from creator Charles M Schulz, whose nickname was "Charlie." His last name "Brown" was taken from one of Schulz's co-workers at the Art Instruction Inc.

Correction: There was plenty of of time during this scene sequence for Snoopy to quickly wipe off the excess soot off his face.
