Continuity mistake: As Jake and Olivia steal a car while their enemies are shooting at them, we see a rear-view mirror. A few seconds later, Jake turns to check if they are followed, and the mirror has vanished. As they reach the safe house the mirror is back. (00:19:55 - 00:21:30)
Continuity mistake: During the assault on the police station, detective Redman shoots at the bad guys from his office door. The bad guys shoot at him too and we see bullet holes appearing on the corner of the door labelled "S10". Factual error: During the opening credits, it is stated that in WW2, German troops gave the US Marines the name of "Devil Dogs." At no time did the Wehrmacht engage the USMC.
Plot hole: It's a good thing Jake left the Corps....here he is lying in the bed of a pickup with a full-auto weapon, and he can't take out the radiator of a vehicle 20 feet back, with not one, not two, but 3 clips of ammunition. A few rounds through the radiator, coolant is gone, and the motor seizes.
