Continuity mistake: When the little dog throws items from the cabinet down to Spike, Spike catches two trays of glasses, a yellow vase with his right foot and a pink teapot with his left foot. But when Spike goes out of the house after a pepper pot lands on his nose, the vase and teapot have changed positions.

Continuity mistake: Before Spike arrives at the bear's home, you can see the handle on the front door is long and pointed. Later on in the cartoon, it changes to a round door knob.

Continuity mistake: When the bear kicks Spike, Spike's scarf disappears and remains missing for the rest of the cartoon.

Continuity mistake: When the little dog uses a candle to heat up the door knob, Spike runs into the house and burns his hand. When he goes up to the hill, you can see the door is open, but when he returns to the house, the door is now closed.

Continuity mistake: When Spike runs up the hill after seeing a skunk the little dog was holding, he says "Phew!" and drops the club he was holding. But when he goes up the hill to burp behind a bush after drinking some milk, the club has gone.
