From the angle shot inside the bar, the number of people behind the group has doubled, the man in white is gone and a woman has magically appeared standing next to the man with the blue shirt.

Sacha

Sacha

Continuity mistake: After the modern train destroys the DeLorean, Marty lays on the grass, face down. Then, in a close-up, he turns around to watch the train. When the angle changes he is still facing down and crawling on the grass. In the following shot he has moved 5 meters to the right and is sitting by the bushes close to the tracks.

Sacha

Continuity mistake: When the modern train is about to destroy the DeLorean, Marty exits the car jumping head first onto the ground. In the immediate next angle he has magically moved 4 meters to the left and is standing tall, jumping over the bushes towards the lawn.

Sacha

Continuity mistake: Doc warns Marty to watch out for the "Track ends" sign which can be seen just 10 meters away. Despite that short distance, the action goes on for several seconds. Given their speed, they should have crashed almost immediately after Doc's warning.

Sacha

Continuity mistake: When Buford chases Marty, the position of his 3 goons is an absolute mess and changes from shot to shot with no continuity whatsoever: Sometimes they're behind Buford; or two riders on the right and one on the left; or last but not least: all three riding past Marty until a shot later one of them suddenly appears way behind the group.

Sacha

Continuity mistake: When Buford chases Marty, note the second building after the bar, the Stetson house with a semicircle on the roof. Buford passes by this place at least three times during the chase.

Sacha

Sacha

Continuity mistake: When Marty drives in reverse to run away from the Native Americans there's one on the right side ahead of the car. When the angle changes he's disappeared and all of them are behind the car.

Sacha

Continuity mistake: When Marty is driving toward the cinema screen to go to 1885, after thunderbolts surround the car, in the front shots he looks concentrated and calm, but in a brief shot from the side he is really scared and tense. This swaps back and forth.

Sacha

Factual error: When Marty goes to meet Mad Dog Tannen for the duel, in the background on the right side is the current flag of California. But that flag did not become the state flag of California until 1911, so would not have been around in 1885.

Doc: Marty, the idea that I could fall in love at first sight! It's romantic nonsense. There's no scientific rationale for it.
Marty: Come on, Doc. It's not science. You meet the right girl it just hits you. It's like lightning.
Doc: Marty, please don't say that.

Question: Doc has always been firm about not wanting to create some sort of paradox. Was he not at all worried that eventually someone would go into his barn looking for him and find his giant refrigerator and his model railway with the car that said "TIME MACHINE" on it? I know he stayed behind after he rescued Clara so could have removed all that, but the original plan was he was going to hop into the DeLorean with Marty. We know he definitely left the model railway there as Clara picked the car up which prompted her to go after him.

Answer: Someone would go into his barn and do what? See a sign that says time machine and believe it and then use it? Seems highly unlikely.

Answer: Well everyone in that town knows Doc's a pretty smart guy. Chances are he was doing some experimenting with time machines or something. The average person I'm sure would never figure it out anyways or think it was a crazy irrelevant project. Clara only figured it out because Doc told her about the time machine and time travel and thought Doc was lying to break up with her. The story sounded crazy until she saw the model, then saw the machine and realised he was telling her the truth. But the average person in that period knows nothing about the time machine, cars, or rime travel and even if they by some chance figured out Doc was from the future nobody would believe it nor could they prove it.
