Continuity mistake: When the Pink Panther is sleeping on the bear-skin rug, the price tag reads "$350-00." When he rides in the rug, the two end zeros have disappeared, and in the shot after that, they are back again.
Continuity mistake: When the Pink Panther holds the "Here We Go Again" sign when hiding in the bear-skin rug, the eyes of the bear are completely different to the ones seen a few shots earlier.
Continuity mistake: When the lion jumps into the basement while chasing the Pink Panther, the doors of the basement are initially flat but in the next shot they are slightly raised.
Continuity mistake: When the Pink Panther walks past the lion-skin rug after spraying perfume on himself, the stripes on the lion-skin rug change between shots. There is also a "$450.00" card on the rug that disappears in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: When the janitor gives in his resignation to the manager, he throws the pen onto the letter and leaves an ink mark which changes style between shots.
Continuity mistake: When the janitor is sweeping litter, he stops when he hears the Pink Panther driving the car and there is some litter in front of him. But when we return to the janitor later on, the litter has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When the Pink Panther sees the rocket car, he picks up the label and starts reading it, but the next shot shows him with the label right up to his face.
Continuity mistake: When the janitor goes up on the elevator, he is holding his broom in one hand and a bucket in another. When he sees the Pink Panther wearing a tiger's mask, the bucket has disappeared, and when he reaches the top of the elevator, the bucket is back again.
Continuity mistake: When the Pink Panther looks at the masks in the Halloween Department, the masks on the table change between shots.
Continuity mistake: When the Pink Panther hides in the tiger skin rug, the inside of the tiger's mouth is coloured red but then changes to black in the next shot.
Character mistake: On a pillar in the department store, there is a sign saying "Bear, Tiger, Zebr Skins." It should read "Zebra."
Continuity mistake: When the janitor sweeps the floor litter into the tiger-skin rug, the Pink Panther ejects the litter and you can see that the janitor's sweeping brush and litter are by the rug when he runs off to fetch a gun. But when the janitor returns with a gun, the litter and sweeping brush have disappeared.
