Factual error: Film is supposedly showing Hollywood circa 2010, but in a shot of Hollywood Blvd, the Dolby Theatre sign is visible. However, Dolby didn't get naming rights to the former Kodak Theatre until 2012. Also of note, a few seconds later, another shot of Hollywood Blvd is shown, this time with the Kodak lettering correctly visible. (00:01:00)
Continuity mistake: When a frustrated Lorne Michaels starts tearing apart the overcrowded board with too many sketches, in the first shot he claws out the lower half of the leftmost column, below "Commercial #1." In the next shot, though, the board is still fully stocked with post-it notes, and he tears them down in a different order. (01:13:30)
Audio problem: When inside Washington D.C. and the AH-64 is firing its gun, the sound is completely wrong. In the movie, it sounds like a laser gun, and in reality, it's a M230 chain gun, which sounds different.
Character mistake: When Jodie and Colt are in her trailer, discussing what should be done next, Jodie suggests Colt needs to cross the border. But they are in Australia, which only borders the sea.
Other mistake: Justin reads the online article about what happened one year earlier on October 25th, which, as mentioned during the testimony and in line with the movie current events taking place in 2022, was Monday, Oct 25, 2021. However, he then checks his online calendar, which has a note for the due date of the twins (his wife's earlier miscarriage that indirectly caused the accident). But the note is on a "T" day - Tuesday, Oct 25, 2022. He looks up a 2021 note in a 2022 calendar... and he finds it. It should also be noted that you can see in the browser window by the calendar that the online article he was checking out earlier now wrongly says that they argued on the night of the 24th instead of the 25th. Clicking on the calendar entry pops then up the correct Monday 25th, 2021 date.
Visible crew/equipment: At the rodeo, just as the tornado comes, there is a shot panning across some equipment that ends with the guy shouting into the microphone for people to evacuate. As it's panning across the equipment, it's casting shadows on it.
Continuity mistake: When Samira and Eric arrive at the jazz club, Eric sits Samira down and then goes outside. A drum kit can be seen with "East Harlem Best" written on the front. Right after he leaves and right before Samira stands up to plug her iPod in, a bar stool has suddenly appeared in front of the drum kit. Eric will move this same bar stool in front of the drum kit himself again later on in the scene.
Factual error: Someone shouts "jobsworth" at a London Underground official. This term is first recorded in 1970. The film is set in 1940.
Continuity mistake: At the fancy dinner at the beginning of the movie, Frida uses the titular line ("Blink twice if I am in danger") on Kyle MacLachlan. Rich slightly tips over his glasses as Slater waves his hand. In the next shot, Slater is still waving, but Rich's position is wildly different; his glasses are completely off and in fact below his waistline. (00:09:20)
Continuity mistake: Kraven casually sniffs a couple and ruins their relationship. He then sits down with his brother; Fred Hechinger's hand keeps changing position between shots, holding a fork or not.
Factual error: Andy crashes on an uncharted planet, and his personal assistant says the atmosphere is 2% oxygen. This is over 90% less than the oxygen concentration on Earth. When Andy comes across his crashed and burning ship (the "Borealis"), the fire is burning just as brightly as it does on Earth. The fire should be shown as burning much lower due to the small amount of oxygen.
Continuity mistake: When the milkman is drinking milk in the bar and talking to the Tony the Tiger actor, the amount of milk in his glass changes with the different camera angles. It goes from 2/3 full to mostly full to half full back to mostly full. (00:54:56 - 00:55:45)
Character mistake: Characters frequently refer to there being crocodiles living in the water. Alligators live in Florida, not crocodiles. And although they are closely related, they are not the same species.
Continuity mistake: During the "One Short Day" sequence, the Wizomania choir arrives featuring Kristin Chenoweth (on the left) singing back to back with Idina Menzel. When Kristin hits the high key, Idina suddenly disappears between instant cuts.
Continuity mistake: When Jack has his temperature taken near the start of the film, the thermometer in his mouth goes from right-side up to upside down, then back to right-side up between cuts.
Factual error: The insignia on Staff Sgt. Branson's uniform is incorrect. The insignia on her camouflage blouse is for a US Army Staff Sgt, not a US Air Force Staff Sgt. (00:03:58)
Continuity mistake: Antonio visited his ex at his new educational centre. He confesses his hopes to his female friend, who tells him it's a bad idea. During this scene, Michela Giraud's hands change position noticeably between shots, sometimes during mid-sentence cuts. (00:24:00)
Other mistake: Irs stabbed Richard completely through his face and shot him in the torso. Although he fell in the lake, he is later shown on the shore and he is not bleeding. Head wounds normally bleed like crazy. Since he is wounded in two places, he should have drowned or bled out from swimming to shore. (01:19:51 - 01:25:08)
Continuity mistake: When Clay fights Anisette at the gas station, her heels change from stilettos to flats. Best visible when Clay throws her on a car, right after she says he should be retired.
Continuity mistake: During the cartoon short that opens the movie, Joker, on his way to the stage, breaks the arm of a man in the corridor. In the background, slightly ahead of him in his path, is a poster for Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times. The camera angle changes as Shadow Joker turns around; he is supposed to be in the same spot, but the poster is way behind him; Joker is now standing next to the Pal Joey poster.
