The "Raggedy Ann" doll begins as a book character in "Raggedy Ann Stories" (1918), but is created three years earlier by cartoonist Johnny Gruelle. Raggedy Ann and brother Raggedy Andy dolls are still manufactured today. The Raggedy Ann doll in the movie appears to be circa 1940s and might sell for $100 - 200 (used) on E-Bay.
