Continuity mistake: Solomon put the rope around his waist underneath his coat, but when he was walking through the woods the rope was tied over his coat. Continuity mistake: At the clothing rental store, Maigret puts the box with the victim's bloodied dress on the counter. He leans against the counter with closed fists, but in the next shot, we see Gérard Depardieu leaning with his open hands flat instead. (00:17:00)
Continuity mistake: The time of day changes multiple times during the first half of the movie. When Danny is talking to Papi, Papi is outside and the sun is in the west indicating late day. In Danny's angle the sun is right overhead. There are multiple times when it is full on overcast in one angle and cloudless blue sky in the next.
Continuity mistake: The bottle of beer on the bar in front of Everett disappears in one shot but re-appears. Also, depending on the camera's angle, Everett either has his right hand holding onto the edge of the bar or is below the bar (out of sight). (00:04:25 - 00:40:14)
Continuity mistake: Banker Mr. Anderson picks up his glasses from the desk and holds them near his face, then picks them up a second time. (00:51:35)
Continuity mistake: In the first view of Rockit holding the surfboard with both hands, he has a loop of hair midway along his center-parted hair, but the loop is gone in the next front view of him. (00:11:14)
Continuity mistake: While driving to Harper's house, Jordan did not have the sun visor down, but it was down when she was backing up after she passed Harper's house, #237. The sun visor was not down when Jordan was going down the driveway to the house. (00:17:15)
Continuity mistake: At the top of the stairs during the wedding party, Bouc makes a comment about adenoids and flat feet while Gal Gadot waves at the guests and her husband with a theatrical gesture puts her hand under his arm. The same gesture repeats in the next shot as we see the pain of doctor Windlesham. (00:22:45)
Continuity mistake: The group come across an outpost only to find the person inside having been brutally killed and skinned by Indians. A shot from the door shows Will sitting on his horse hunched over, staring into the cabin in shock. When the camera cuts to a close-up of him, his body is now at a different angle, his arms are in a slightly different position, and the light is hitting his coat and hat from a different angle. Continuity mistake: When Harry wrapped Lily's ankle injury, there was bloody wrapping below the duct tape. When Karl asked to see Lily's leg, there was no blood showing on the material below the tape. Also, Harry did not completely cover the ankle injury with duct tape like he did to keep creatures from smelling the blood on Lily's stomach cut, questioning why the creatures could not smell the blood on Lily's ankle. Continuity mistake: At various points throughout the movie, the position of the lamp on the end table (to Charlie's left where he usually sits on the couch) changes, from the base being in the back corner, to mid-way along the chair's arm, to being centered along the rear edge, to near the middle of the table, etc. As the lamp's position changes, the other objects on the table also change. Suggested correction: "At various points throughout the movie" so he moved his lamp. If the shots aren't consecutive (screenshot, please) this is not a continuity error.
Continuity mistake: At the bar in Cannes, Jesse pins his pilot wings on Tom so he can make an impression with a lady. A Marine comes over, threatening Jesse. Tom comes to Jesse's defense, and he no longer has the pilot's wings on his uniform. (01:07:54 - 01:10:08)
Continuity mistake: Alan goes into his appointment with Dr. Fredericks at 5:08, and it is still 5:08 on the wall clock when he leaves her office. (00:10:20 - 00:14:03)
Continuity mistake: When Maren first sees Lee, she finishes putting some small tampon boxes in her bag. She has her right hand on her bag, but when the shot cuts, her right hand is against the shelf. (00:33:15)
Continuity mistake: The top of Brecken's head was close to (within a few inches of) the headboard before his mother brought the pillow. When his mother put the pillow over his face and the camera shifted to a right-side rear view, the upper part of the bed was raised about 45°. When Lang Dotrice (Brecken's father) arrived and sat on his bed, the pillow used to smother Brecken was at least a foot away from the headboard and Brecken's head (still under the pillow) was about a yard away from the headboard. Continuity mistake: In the bar scene after Padraic tries the "new tactic" on Colm, in some shots of the scene you can see 4 pint glasses on the table (three empty and one full for Colm), and in other shots there are 5 (three empty, one full and one half full). (01:20:47)
Continuity mistake: When Sammy pays Bennie for the brand new camera, the way he holds the money changes between the front and back shots. Check the thumb, for example.
Continuity mistake: The sky (sun versus clouds and color - blue, white, or gray) changes frequently during the few minutes when Lara is leaving the site until she returns to retrieve her bag. Before she falls into the hole, the sun is shown near the horizon, about to set, but the sun is shining on her in the hole. A setting sun would not be able to emit rays into a distant hole. Continuity mistake: During their first encounter (the first we see in the movie, at least), Sheila sits next to Gary, and they both order Old Fashioned. Phil the Bartender makes a comment on that, and she shoos him off. Look at Kaley Cuoco 's bag; one of the straps keeps going on/off the top of the bag between shots. (00:03:30)
Continuity mistake: Calvin sets the flowers diagonally on the desk. The stems are partly past the lower right-hand corner and one side of the roses extends past the front of the desk. The students enter the classroom, and the flowers/stems are within the desk's surface. (00:28:52)
