Continuity mistake: The perimeter of the small fires surrounding Virgil is bigger compared to the aerial view when the dogs attack him. Also, sticks comprising some of the fires are different, appearing to have never been aflame. (01:26:04 - 01:28:12)
Factual error: Josephine walks away from her father King Louie 14th, after he tells her she has to marry the young Duke Lintillac for his money. When you look at back of Josephine, you can see a zipper in her skirt. King Louie 14th was King from 1643 until his death in 1715. The first zipper was invented was in 1851. The zipper being used as we know it present day was invented in the early 1890s by Whitcomb L. Judson. (00:55:57)
Continuity mistake: The man picks up his duffel bag and swings it over his shoulder, but does not use its strap. He runs through the woods, and the strap is over his shoulder. Just before he runs onto the beach, he swings his bag over his shoulder, as if he does not use the shoulder strap in the woods. (00:01:40)
Continuity mistake: The night Krypto loses his powers, he gets a black eye on his left eye. However, the next day, the wound is gone.
Factual error: The film gets basic physics wrong while trying to depict relativity. Buzz Lightyear leaves T'Kani Prime for a trip around its sun, travels with near-light speed, and returns four years later. This could only have happened if T'Kani Prime's sun were at least two lightyears away! It gets more ridiculous. Buzz's last trip takes 26 years, even though he has traveled at faster-than-light speed. Overall, T'Kani Prime is experiencing either a mysterious time slow-down or a rapid orbit expansion.
Other mistake: Si was kneeling on the floor, stabbing his upper left arm and blood was gushing out. After he moved his right arm with the bloody knife to his right side, the aerial view did not show any blood on the floor, across his thighs/pants, or even dripping down his left arm. (00:27:50)
Revealing mistake: This happens in the second ceremony when Wolf didn't press the button to shut off the lights to steal the golden dolphin because of the good comments. Few seconds later, the lights shut off, and you can see that the meteor on the top disappears at the time.
Continuity mistake: At the start, a door opens up to reveal Jack standing there before going down a hallway. In this first shot, he is not wearing the ceremonial ribbon thing around his neck but rather holding it in his hand. Then suddenly it appears already around his neck in the next shot of him from behind and then visible from the front. It's a little more visible or evidently missing in the colour version of the film. (00:02:21)
Deliberate mistake: Elizabeth will not be able to save Mateo from falling backwards into the fire pit by grabbing his hand or pulling him back after his whole body is suspended over the edge. (01:13:47)
Continuity mistake: Ava sees the stack of mail on the table. She sweeps her hand (fingertips and envelopes are off-screen), as she slides the top envelope closer. Ava picks up the top envelope, as if her hand sweep does not move any of the envelopes (and serves no purpose). (00:05:48)
Continuity mistake: The wrapped Christmas presents set near the airplane's tail are stacked differently in the before and after views of Ben's arms in the storage compartment. The gold package that is on top is missing and the larger green package on the ground is angled away from the others. Later, the green package is aligned with and touching the lower gold package. (00:16:39)
Continuity mistake: The group come across an outpost only to find the person inside having been brutally killed and skinned by Indians. A shot from the door shows Will sitting on his horse hunched over, staring into the cabin in shock. When the camera cuts to a close-up of him, his body is now at a different angle, his arms are in a slightly different position, and the light is hitting his coat and hat from a different angle. Revealing mistake: The views to the right and left of the truck on the road did not flow in the manner expected if they were actually there (as opposed to using a green screen). Also, as soon as a "stop" sign could be seen to the right, the camera shifted to the driver, who kept driving as though the stop sign was not there. The structures to the right of the truck were blue but became white when the camera shifted to a front view (not using a green screen). (00:01:20)
Audio problem: When the boy and the leader of Iceland are hammering in posts and the boy is complaining that he's the heir and shouldn't have to do manual labor, there are at least two times when bad wind flutter in the microphones can be heard. It sounds like the wind clips the volume level and the audio briefly cuts out. It happens on windy film shoots, as wind screens can only prevent so much and its obviously very windy in this scene. Why this wasn't caught in post is hard to say. This is audible on the video on demand version.
Suggested correction: No such problem exists on the UHD/Blu-ray release. I also did not notice it on the VOD release, so it could have just been an issue with your sound setup.
