Continuity mistake: When Dellinger is about to leave home to Chicago her wife's hand swaps between being on the boy's shoulder or over his left bicep.
Continuity mistake: The flatbed truck that Kyle and Swin got in at the onset of their trip is very different when they parked and went to buy rope (but got tape). The truck style is different, the cargo and its cover have changed (tarp is smaller, a different color, and is wrapped across instead of front to back), and the orange cone/cones change locations. Continuity mistake: The shape, amount, length and width of the white down "Dream Alliance's" face varied, as did the height of his white "boots", indicating that the same foal/horse was not used throughout the movie. The white on the foal's and adult Dream Alliance's face and lower legs looked painted on at times. Before Dream's first race, black tape was used on his lower legs, apparently as an attempt to make a different horse's higher white boots less or not at all noticeable. (00:32:42 - 00:35:51)
Continuity mistake: Grandpa squeezed the mustard bottle, aiming at and hitting the center of Peter's pants where the zipper or "fly" is, plus some mustard landed on his shirt. The stain starts off covering a pretty large area, then shrinks to half the size and moves further right. (01:13:59 - 01:22:59)
Continuity mistake: Adam has connected strands of hair across his right cheek that are no longer there when the camera switches direction. (00:51:22)
Continuity mistake: The position of the dead (imposter) security guard's head over the barbell changes. When Gus says, "Jesus, he's dead", the security guard's neck is over the barbell rail, the top of his head is touching the floor, and his face is toward the front of the screen. When the camera goes to the opposite side of the dead guard, his head and neck are raised (and apparently no longer being supported by the barbell - or anything else). (00:28:28)
Continuity mistake: Dominick's tattoo on the back of his head changes from the time he was in the prison courtyard to when he was boarding the bus. The older tattoos underneath were not entirely covered up or removed, blurring the swastika that he had thereafter. The transitions that occurred didn't seem possible - a swastika on top of a circle would not turn into a clear swastika. In ONE shot of the back of his head, the entire tattoo was located higher than his ears while others went lower on his head.
Continuity mistake: Theo lays Susanna's phone down - when it cuts back to her phone is lying in the opposite direction.
Continuity mistake: When Driscoll is walking out to his car with his son, you see the driver's side window is rolled all the way up. When he sees Spenser and goes to talk to him, the window is now rolled down, even though he didn't do anything. (01:22:00)
