Other mistake: Davis tells Kate to go and she jumps out of the falling plane, her chute opening. Davis then takes a minute to free Harvey from the plane as it's still falling before they both get out. Once they are free falling he takes a few seconds before he pulls their chutes as well. However as they are coming down close to the plane crash site, Kate is near level with them in altitude as they are all coming down together. With how high she was when she jumped out compared to the time it took for Davis and Harvey to get out of the plane and open their chutes, she would have been several minutes behind them in the sky, not right next to them. (00:47:45 - 00:49:05)
Suggested correction: She jumped first and would have already descended in altitude. Then the guys jump and freefalled and pulled their chutes so it is plausible they caught up to her altitude when their chutes opened.
Other mistake: When Helen turns right to "head to the stacks" everyone in the back of the van falls to the right. Centrifugal force would push them to the left. (01:56:06)
Other mistake: Throughout the movie, Hank's lab in its shrunken form is constantly jostled and tossed around, but when it's restored to full size in a new location, nothing is out of place and everything still works perfectly.
Suggested correction: Given that he has prepared the lab to be shrunken and mobilized at a moment's notice, he probably thought of this ahead of time and secured everything important in place.
Perhaps he could secure some things, but there's never so much as a computer monitor out of place.
It's a fair point. I agree that some things should definitely be out of place, but given the importance of what he is working on, he would take measures to ensure that the important things wouldn't become damaged and inoperative when the lab is being moved around. We see on at least one occasion that he has ants roaming the lab, so it's possible he trained them to ensure that the Quantum Gate and any device essential to its operation are protected at all times.
In a world in which a man becomes the size of an ant, I guess any correction could be invalidated. I this case, there are any number of reasons why everything, down to paper and pens, never moves. Maybe the ants pick them all up. Maybe gravity works differently when shrunk. This means that basically any movie that uses magic or magic type technology would never have a valid mistake.
Other mistake: When Tom picks up Atlanna when she washes up, she's unconscious, but she's able to hold on to her trident.
Suggested correction: It is emphasized that she is still holding it even when unconscious.
Other mistake: For the most part we see Malorie floating in the boat going with the river. However, numerous times we see her rowing against the tide. Even blindfolded you would be able to tell you are rowing against the flow by the resistance on the paddles.
Other mistake: In Jurassic World, we are told that the Gyrosphere can stop a .50 calibre bullet. When it falls into the sea in this film, Owen shoots some holes in it using a pistol and manages to prise the door off using a small knife.
Other mistake: When Boyce and Ford are watching Chloe and the Nazi officer through the floorboards, the former are in the attic, the latter downstairs in the living room. Surely looking through the attic floorboards would only allow a view into one of the bedrooms. How then do Boyce and Ford manage to see down into the living room?
Other mistake: When Eddie is in his apartment and on the hunt for a new job, he uses his phone to text a contact while looking for work. His phone shows no signal meter. (00:23:10)
Other mistake: The spacesuit on the cover of the film looks almost nothing like the suits that are actually in the film itself.
Other mistake: The remaining four people at the power plant are evacuating ahead of the explosion of the bomb they set. They are running towards the helicopter to escape. The scene shows the helicopter with the rotors already turning. But there is no-one on board, much less a pilot to have started the helicopter. (01:21:10)
Other mistake: A female bull shark has between 1-13 pups. The exact number in the movie is questionable (due to their speed), but appeared to be well over the maximum 13 and perhaps closer to double this amount. Classified as "other" instead of "factual" mistake because the mother shark's DNA was altered, which could possibly explain a higher number of pups per pregnancy. (01:03:20 - 01:06:40)
Other mistake: Miles, a 17 - or 18-year-old whose "grades were trash", may have been able to fix his motorcycle, but it seems highly unlikely that he would be able to fix (a few times) a highly advanced robotic dog like A-X-L. [A-X-L was able to self-correct certain things.].
