A ceramic mug falls out of the box. There is both visual and audible confirmation. Continuity mistake: Near the start when Wade and Vanessa are discussing families, in most shots facing her she's got her thumb lying along his jawline, but in most shots facing him it's sticking up by his ear.
Continuity mistake: When the soldiers arrive at the Alamo, the soldier with the glasses is reading a book with a white cover. In the next shot, he is reading one with a red cover.
Continuity mistake: On the spaceship, Peter is talking to Tony, and has his hair swept back with gel or similar. When he says "You can't be a friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man if there's no neighbourhood", we cut to Tony then back, and Peter now has a fringe with no gel. In later shots it's back how it was before.
Continuity mistake: During the getaway in the 4-door olive-green BMW, in one shot, the driver's headrest is bent forward; in the next shot, it is shown back in the straight-up position.
Continuity mistake: When Ken Wheatley is pointing his tranquilizer gun at Zia after he shot Owen, he puts the gun in his left hand and uses his right hand to wave his men down, but mid wave, the camera cuts to a different angle and he is waving with his left hand while holding the gun in his right hand. Continuity mistake: Jimmy Silva's Hk416 has one surefire M300 scout light on the right hand rail (3 o'clock) throughout the movie, but when he enters the apartment complex he all of a sudden has two flashlights on both left and right rails (9 and 3 o'clock). Continuity mistake: When McCall is about to have the fight in the hotel room, the man who answers the door goes and locks the door right before the fight begins. When McCall is done with the fight, he turns the doorknob and walks out without ever unlocking the door.
Continuity mistake: When Jonas is swimming the tracking gun out to where the Meg is circling, he dunks his head under water to look for the shark. When he surfaces, his earpiece has changed ears. When they cut back to him, it's moved back to the correct ear.
Continuity mistake: At the school, when Scott's suit is malfunctioning and he's big in the janitor's closet, his head is tilted towards his right shoulder. When Hope is working on the suit, we see Scott's head is now tilted towards his left shoulder, even though he's stuck and wouldn't have been able to move around like that. But in the next shot it's back to his right.
Continuity mistake: When they are first fighting, Will throws Ben onto the dishwasher. And as he rolls off it, there is a blue plate with a wooden spoon sitting on top of it. When Ben turns and grabs for a knife in the dishwasher, suddenly the blue plate is gone and replaced by various tupperware, and the wooden spoon is now standing up in a slot. (00:24:10)
Continuity mistake: When English, Bough and his wife are looking at Garroch Castle from the submarine, Bough's wife says to English, "Jeremy has always spoken very highly of you." However, in the first Johnny English film, it was established that Bough's first name is Angus.
Continuity mistake: As Lara is headed up to the boat's pilot house, she obviously leaves the hatch open, but a far away shot shows the door closed again, as she's climbing the ladder. When she goes back down, it's suddenly open again. You could claim it's the rocking of the boat, but as she's grabbing her gear, the door stays open.
Continuity mistake: After Gillick saves Isabel and they get into the car, the seats in the car don't have any head rests. But after they turn, and the camera shows them in the car again, the headrests are there. (01:02:55)
Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie when Debbie visits Danny's grave, the headstone first reads 1963 - 2018. A moment later when shown from the side, the writing has changed to 1958 - 2017. At the end of the movie when Debbie visits the grave again, it reads 1963 - 2018.
