Corrected entry: At the beginning of the show the name South Carroll Parish, Louisiana appears to indicate where the opening scene is happening. South Carroll Parish does not exist. It has to be either East or West.
Chapter Two: The Weirdo on Maple Street - S1-E2
Corrected entry: When Nancy wakes up at Steve's house, the window shows light outside, but when Nancy goes outside it's nighttime.
Correction: I thought this too at first, and looked over it several times. It's just the very bright pool lights just outside their window that's shining into the room.
Corrected entry: Matt and an Indian cop are talking to a music festival organizer. The man is supposedly reading something from his smartphone but the phone is upside-down. (00:18:00)
Correction: Most smartphones have auto-rotate on that will turn the page to face upwards, no matter the phone's position. So even upside down it will still rotate.
Corrected entry: In the beginning, season 1, Chidi says that the good place translates a language for the other person to understand and he says he is speaking French to Eleanor, however in season 3 they return back to earth to see if they change to be good, and when they meet again they all speak English to each other on earth. It can't be that reality's changed, because it's made clear they're meant to operate with no interference and have nothing in common beyond the Good Place, so there's no reason to make it easier for them to communicate. (00:08:25)
Correction: Chidi spoke/speaks English on Earth and he has taught ethics in several countries, including Australia. But since he was raised in Senegal, French is his primary language. The fact that Chidi was speaking French and it was translated to English (or that English was translated into French for him) was only done to trick everyone into thinking they're in the Good Place.
I Didn't Ask and She Didn't Say - S2-E8
Corrected entry: Danny Masterson calls Wilmer Walderama "Fez", even though the character is named Umberto. "Fez, it's good to have you back!"
Correction: Rooster says "Man, it's good to have you back." He never says "Fez." He laughs before saying it, so it's possible you misheard, or it was wishful thinking that he called him by his old character name.
Corrected entry: In Fuller House we meet Kimmie's younger brother, but in Full House, there was a conversation where Stephanie mentioned in exasperation, "younger sisters" and Kimmie replied "that's why my parents stopped with me."
Correction: She must have meant her parents stopped having daughters; no "younger sisters".
The King of the Delta Blues - S2-E6
Corrected entry: A November 23, 1936 San Antonio, Texas scene shows a one way street in front of a hotel. The first one way street in the US was in Eugene, Oregon in 1941. (00:01:00)
Correction: Not really a mistake. In the context of the show, small historical details are being inadvertently altered as the Lifeboat agents track down Rittenhouse sleeper agents to prevent Rittenhouse from drastically changing American and World historical events.
Corrected entry: They use CPR to revive a drowned child. CPR wasn't defined until the middle of the twentieth century.
Correction: They didn't use CPR (there was no chest compressions). Houdini just did mouth to mouth resuscitation, because as he said, he works with water a lot. Artificial respiration to revive people who have apparently drowned has been around since the late 1770's. In fact, by the end of the 19th century, hundreds of depots were set up in the UK (especially near coastal areas) to assist reviving drowning victims. Mouth to mouth is something Houdini would have known about.
Corrected entry: When Danny is chatting to Luke in Connie's restaurant about how he's doing, actor Finn Jones says that he has Luke's back and he also says, so does Claire and so does Jessica when in fact Jessica is the name of Jessica Henwick who plays Colleen Wing. (00:55:25)
Correction: He's referring to Jessica Jones.
Act of God - S1-E4
Corrected entry: Elizabeth worries that if she dismisses the Prime Minister she will be violating the Constitution. Tommy Lascelles later observes that her father George VI "never would violate the Constitution," Great Britain has no written constitution, only convention and custom.
Correction: Not "only convention and custom" - a lot of laws! Britain's constitution absolutely exists, but is "uncodified", made up of Acts of Parliament, court judgments and, yes, conventions, rather than a single document. Doesn't mean there isn't one.
Correction: The show makes up place names all the time, such as for foreign countries that don't exist in real life. There's no reason they can't make up a county name too.
