Continuity mistake: SPOILER: The boy, Roger, finds a glove in a secret drawer in Mr. Holmes' room. The glove is lying perfectly flat in the drawer. It had supposedly been there for years unknown to Mr. Holmes. Later, in a flashback scene, it shows Dr. Watson putting the glove in the drawer. When he puts the glove in the secret drawer, it is not laid flat in the drawer - it has an obvious upward bend in the glove. Since the glove had been in the drawer, untouched, for years, it should have still had that upward bend.
Suggested correction: Although we are only shown Watson putting the glove in the drawer once there is no reason to suggest he may not have looked at it again before he left for good. More compellingly, Watson placed the glove in the drawer whilst the bureau was in place in Holmes' quarters in London, and it was not discovered until a quarter of a century later having been moved at some point to Holmes' house in Sussex. This journey could also easily have displaced the gloves position to some degree. The weight of papers contained in the drawer above may have also aided in flattening the glove out over the years.
Continuity mistake: The blood on the good guy's white shirt continuously changes through the last chase. (01:22:00 - 01:26:00)
Continuity mistake: The resident bully approaches Mara once her rather embarrassing mum left. Mara turns around and tries to power her way out of the predicament; in the background, the girl with the bright red dress has her arm across her waist, but at the cut she has both arms behind her back. Continuity mistake: When Billy and his daughter are at Moreen's grave the sun changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: After the shooting at the concert, Lysistrata is in the bathroom downing the pill with some Don Julio tequila. The bottle lid is to the left of the bottle in the wide angles, to the right in close-up. (00:10:00)
Continuity mistake: During the dinner scene in Simon Pegg's apartment, watch Kate Beckinsale's bowl of soup. There's a large bubble stuck to the rim and the location changes back and forth between shots.
Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the movie when Joy is in her airline's company uniform and getting ready to go to work, the knot on her scarf changes from loose to tight several times in the different shots.
Continuity mistake: During the saloon heist, Luke Wilson comes in to distracts Harvey Keitel. Danny pulls out a roll of banknotes to buy "some real scotch from Scotchland"; one of the girls poured a drink to Smiley and put the bottle down, but the bottle in a following shot is in a different position. Continuity mistake: When Kevin Bacon is shouting "did you open the trunk?" at the boys through the window of the sheriff's car, his hand is full palm on the glass from the exterior shots, but in an entirely different position in the shots of him from inside the car.
Continuity mistake: Charlie's mock trial: the latina maid walks up the stairs, with Sebastian saying "OhmahGod, thank you." In the foreground, London is holding her goblet with her right hand, but in the next shot she has it in her left. (00:05:15)
Continuity mistake: At the very start of the movie as the 2 guys walk down the alley way, the one in the black jacket lifts his arm up as he passes the rubbish bin. In the next shot from the front both his arms are in his pockets and the rubbish bins completely disappear. (01:00:00 - 01:01:00)
Continuity mistake: After Cooper notices that Hauser is corrupted she touches her fists with him, the level of the window changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: There are several fist fights between Cain and Adam. In most of them one scene does not relate to the previous one. For example, Cain is walking away, and the next cut shows them embraced in a shoving match. This discontinuity happens in many encounters.
Continuity mistake: In the locker room scene after Tony injures his knee, Tony walks outside the room crying and he then throws his helmet against a wall, causing the chin strap to fall off onto the floor in front of the the doors. When the coach walks in through the door, the chin strap has disappeared. When the coach and Tony hug, look just behind the coach's right arm. You can see a quick glimpse of the chin strap back on the floor where it was before.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, the two friends discuss about the pool and various fluids including the pleasant effects of the waterjets on their ladyparts. During these amenities, the sleeve of the bathing robe on the bench switches position back and forth between two positions (showing the stripe or not). (00:03:00)
Continuity mistake: Right at the beginning of the movie, the Sergeant pulls his jeep over and headbutts a prisoner who is carrying a Danish flag, seizing it. In the following shot he has his arms open and shoves away another prisoner, no flag in his hands. Next shot, he's standing by the bleeding prisoner, folded flag in hand. (00:02:25)
Continuity mistake: In order for Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman to break into the secret room, they knock it down. Four enemies who were waiting for them in front of the door are crushed by the falling door and blood is splattered, forming a pool of blood in front of the door. During the fight that follows, there are several shots where the knocked over door is shown, but the pool of blood at the front of the door has vanished. (00:07:10)
Continuity mistake: The crime has been reported and the police just left. Mike joins his wife, who asks him "Anything?" Look at the glasses on the table. A couple cuts later they moved to the left even if nobody touched them. (00:21:10)
Continuity mistake: The handful of yams (pureed) that Glory throws onto the left side of her bowl is spread out, relatively flat, and spans close to the bowl's rim. Suddenly, the yams are piled higher and further away from the bowl. The yams on both sides appear to vary, but other views are too short to be confirmed (without pausing). (00:48:11)
Continuity mistake: The scene where Lilly meets the new art dealer. Lilly holds the brandy in 'his' left hand then right hand then left hand then right hand in different shots. (01:04:00)
