Continuity mistake: Juliano and Joaquin are having their pictures taking celebrating the first earnings from their own gold pit. All of a sudden between shots, the photographer loses the cigarette behind his ear. (00:18:50)
Continuity mistake: The protagonist at the beginning of the movie sunbathes topless.The camera is positioned where the kid is spying her, and in that wide shot she is placing the garment she removed close to her lower half of the body. When he waves his hand casting a shadow over her eyes, the bikini top is in the corner of the towel next to her head. (00:01:20)
Continuity mistake: After Seligman offers to wash Joe's coat, she tells him not to and it's her coat. He shrugs it off and sets the coat on the bed and turns, walking away. It suddenly jump cuts to him being back at the foot of the bed facing her and asking her what happened.
Continuity mistake: The needle Cheryl's holding goes back and forth from her right to her left hand between shots.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film when the girl is shot, in the close up there is no debris on her face, but the next wider shot shows her face covered with dirt and other bits of debris.
Continuity mistake: Langston is speaking to his mom on the phone. The reverend is by the entrance. When Langston says "Oh, I understand" you can see that the red scarf pops in view at different heights between the wide shots and the tighter angle. (00:46:40)
Continuity mistake: When Ivan invites Richie onto his yacht for the first time, a jet ski pulls into Ivan's close-up, and disappears after it cuts back.
Continuity mistake: When the movie starts and Linda takes a glass of water to her lips, the hand with which she holds the glass swaps between shots.
Continuity mistake: A vehicle (or the camera) is driven toward the setting sun and the sun falls below a higher elevation, but the vehicle continues driving in the sun, even when another higher elevation is approached. (00:01:40 - 00:02:15)
Continuity mistake: Bera and Bea have multiple sequences where he complains about his roomie Ugo who lashed back at him after all the abuse he had to take from him. There's a plastic cup on the flush tank; in one of the scenes, in between others, the cup is suddenly in a different spot on the tank (more to the right) and the straw is tilted the opposite way than before. Continuity mistake: During the first meeting between Sebastian and Belle, the dog drops the game far back on the hill, but the rest of the scene takes place with the dead hare right in front of the 'beast', on the edge of the rock. (00:10:10)
Continuity mistake: Travers rides in a stretch limousine and Ralph, her driver, always puts her in the seat farthest back at the rear window. However, whenever she is seen inside the vehicle, she is sitting right behind Ralph, and easily reaches over and slides shut the window between the front seat and the back, even though there should be a wide space between where she is sitting and the driver's seat.
Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of the film, Llewyn goes into a subway station. The train that comes in is a different car model than the one he is sitting in in the next shot. Also, the exterior shot is of a train that did not yet exist in 1961. That model was introduced around 5-6 years later.
Continuity mistake: During dinner after the funeral Streep has a cigarette in her hand. The next shot her hands are together without a cigarette.
Continuity mistake: The layout of the two slices of pizza on the tray and the position of Tyler's fork on his plate differ after Matt reaches the table. The slices of pizza are touching, then spread apart like a "V." Tyler's fork moves from being diagonally across his plate with tines facing him to being situated near the edge of the plate with tines facing Jessica. (00:13:19)
Continuity mistake: When the awful cousin Charlotte hands Gwen the slice of unbirthday cake, she does it with her right hand, left hand, right hand. (00:04:20)
Continuity mistake: When Paul Walker bends down to see his wife's body, the clock reads 09:47, however in the next scene, the time stamp on the movie shows 09:30am. (00:13:00 - 00:13:40)
Continuity mistake: After stabbing the bad guy at the beginning, Callahan for some reason pulls back and somehow dives past a door managing to drag in a grown woman who was all crouched down by the entrance. Wonky physics of it aside, the bad guy shoot at him, but shoots just a hole in the door frame. The hole appears to be CGI, and in fact when Callahan shoots back from the bedroom, the hole is gone. Continuity mistake: When Oscar is on the phone to learn about the location of the job interview in the warehouse district, the paper that was on top of the payphone jumps suddenly in the hand that holds the receiver to his ear, with the phone call already being over. (00:22:25)
