Continuity mistake: They are shown boarding a Boeing 767, which is a twin engine plane. We're then shown a four engine 747 flying off to Manila.
Continuity mistake: When Mikey wakes up from being shot, Sunny has on a pair of green/black Mechanix gloves.When they get in the SWCC boats, and is talking to Rosland Sanchez, his gloves are black/white Mechanix gloves.
Continuity mistake: Just after the beginning, the Aussie man, walking with a tiny dog, has an ice cream in his hand that vanishes - one second it's there and the next second it's gone.
Factual error: When the agent searches for Abu Ahmed in Peshawar, Pakistan, in one scene he gets out of his car, and a shop named Bhatia sons appear in the background, a company based in Delhi, India. In the next scene he is walking down a market, where a sign board of Jaggi sweets, (existing in Punjab, India) is seen, with words written in Hindi (only to be found in India).
Continuity mistake: Jack tosses his beer as he's walking towards Charlotte. Then he takes the boxes but still has the beer in his left hand. When he turns around again, the beer is gone. (00:15:20)
Plot hole: Hock sneaks a gun into the prisoner interrogation area because he is told that guns are not allowed there. If the prison was so strict about keeping guns out of that area then they would surely have metal detectors to prevent such a thing from happening. (00:15:25)
Suggested correction: Not a plot hole at all. Most of the people who are allowed in those areas will be government employees, who will be deemed trusted enough to follow the rules.
Continuity mistake: At the battle of the bands Ryan's car is smashed by Tyler and his friends, specifically the windscreen and headlights. When Elissa drives the car minute later, it is in perfect condition. It's also in perfect condition when Ryan later reverses it into the garage.
Continuity mistake: When Amy is sitting down to eat her breakfast, there is a very long TV remote next to her food. As she points to her bowl and asks if there is milk in this, it cuts to a closer angle and suddenly the TV control is a lot shorter, and moves across the table. (00:04:55)
Other mistake: There is scene in which the assassin is mocking the young would-be suicide bomber and his friend for eating with knives and forks whilst he eats using his hand to pick up the food. However, he eats with his left hand which is absolutely forbidden under Islam. All Muslims eat with their right hands unless they are unable to eat with it (for example if they have a broken arm).
Continuity mistake: After Tony breaks his foot trying to do a round house kick, Frank and Marlon drive off in a car. As it leaves, it shows the back license plate as M272 IMG. Then when the police show up and stop them, shots of the front and back of the same car show the front and back license plate as M272 TMG. The I changed to a T. (00:26:45)
Revealing mistake: Right in the beginning of the movie, we see young Viktor holding a gun to a young girl, about to shoot her. The gun is a revolver and as it comes into focus, you can see there are no bullets in the gun. This is part of a later scene in the movie where Viktor kills his first two people. As he's shooting, you can again see there are no bullets in the gun. (00:01:20 - 00:23:10)
Revealing mistake: When Picasso removes the first finger from Fan Yau Lee's hand, you can see that there is no blood on the instrument used.
Factual error: When the main character goes into the church, she looks at a picture from 1989 labeled "annual picnic". In the picture a boy (next to the main character's mother) wears a hat with a DC (DC Shoes) logo on it. DC Shoes was established in 1993. (01:00:00)
Deliberate mistake: When the cop car is ramming the back of the trunk of Dorff's car, you can tell it is a Ford. The filmmakers however, have put gaffer tape over the logo.
Revealing mistake: When the three characters are playing with legos and Matt is told to start playing music from his ipod, you can see that the sound is off and the ipod is paused when the music is apparently playing.
Continuity mistake: When Poe is talking to the news paper editor, the ink pen on the book changes form there to not there, then to two pens then gone again. It at first looked like a yellow pencil which caught my eye, that is where I caught these mistakes.
Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Frank Harper is seen getting in to a dark blue 1997 R reg Jaguar driven by Craig Fairbrass. After driving for a bit and a conversation they exit the vehicle and set light to the car. As it starts to burn and they walk away, you can see that the car is now a dark green 1996 N reg Jaguar.
Deliberate mistake: Nearly every night scene inside the house is lit by very bright lights shining in the windows from outside. Yet every time anyone is outside the house, it's still just as dark. There is no light source from which these lights could possibly originate.
Other mistake: In the scene where Tom Buckley allows Dr. Matheson's son to be allowed to die, the shot of the heart monitor (DVD time 1:47:17) shows a beating heart rhythm but the heart rate on the right of the monitor indicates "0" beats per minute - this is before the heart beat waveform stops beating and goes flatline. Within seconds, while the heart beat monitor shows flatline, the heart rate number on the right side of the monitor changes to 188. (01:47:15)
