Point Blank - S2-E9
Factual error: In the scene where Mozzy is using a synthesizer to try and figure out the musical code, he starts playing random chords in frustration. Since the synthesizer is a Minimoog (a monophonic instrument) this is impossible. (00:12:45)
137 Sekunden - S1-E3
Factual error: When browsing for information about the crow deaths in the Ganwar Region of Somalia, the computer indicates that the CDC requested additional funding from DHS. The only problem with that is, DHS was formed in 2002, 11 years after the incident in Ganwar. (00:40:05)
Suggested correction: Although the Department of Homeland Security - commonly abbreviated as DHS - was not formed until 2002, in the later episode "Revelation Zero" it is indicated that DHS stands for an agency called Demographic and Health Services.
Factual error: In the banner for the exibition in France at the start, the French isn't right. It says "Opéra nationale" and "La morte de Marie Antoinette Des objets fabriqués de le temps de Marie Antoinette". It should be "Opera national" and "La mort de Marie Antoinette Des objets fabriqués à l'époque de Marie Antoinette" or "des objets fabriqués du temps de Marie Antoinette".
Smells Like Teen Spirit - S6-E15
Factual error: German bearer bonds would never have English writing on them, and furthermore instead of just saying "German bearer bonds" the company or other entity that issued them would be named.
Factual error: Early in the episode, it is mentioned that Mrs. Faulkner's husband flew an F-16 fighter. Later, during Mrs. Faulkner's speech after her meeting with Anna, a picture of her husband is shown. He is wearing a Navy Dress Blue uniform. The Navy does not fly F-16s. In the US military, they are used exclusively by the Air Force.
Factual error: When the stolen freight train is braking, the air pipe becomes disconnected. This should trigger the brakes on the train, but the train keeps going with no brakes. When the train is being slowed with no brakes working, why are there sparks coming from all wheels on the train? (00:32:00 - 00:38:00)
Factual error: At the beginning of the episode, Patrick Swayze is looking at photos of two Iraq veterans who have been murdered. He identifies one as a Marine Lance Corporal and the other as an Army PFC, but both pictures show men in U.S. Army uniforms. A bit later, his partner, who is supposed to be a Marine vet, refers to his decision not to "re-up," using the Army term for re-enlistment, rather than "ship over," as it's referred to in the Navy and Marines.
Factual error: Roughly fifteen minutes into the episode, it shows Jackie and Dr. O'Hara eating at a restaurant. Dr. O'Hara offers Jackie a cigarette from a celadon pack of American Spirit Mediums. In the next shot, it shows O'Hara holding a cigarette with an orange filter. American Spirit Mediums have a white filter, not orange.
Factual error: During the flash back of 1912, one of the characters pulls an American note out for Damon, and it had the date 2016 or 2010 on. (00:13:00)
Suggested correction: That's not the date. The blue number is basically the serial number, not the date. The series date would be in too fine of print to see in the shot of the bill.
Factual error: The U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers are wearing ties with tie clips. Real officers wear a badge tie tack. (00:01:35)
