Other mistake: During the shootout in the gallery, Clive Owen shoots the revolver 12 times.
Other mistake: When Ryan and Alex are first together in the hotel room, there is a gratuitous nude view of her getting on the bed. The body double used for this couldn't be more than 21, and her appearance is quite at odds with the character, who is pushing 40.
Suggested correction: This is pure opinion. Yes, it has been said that a body double was used in this scene. But within the world of the movie, there's no reason that can't be Alex. She reveals later that she's 34, and many women look absolutely splendid at that age. We see her partially nude in the very next shot, with no big discrepancy from what we saw from behind. It wasn't until after several viewings of this movie that I found out that this was a double, and even now that I know, it's still not obvious at all.
Other mistake: Just before the ending credits, this statement appears: "He was buried with full Christian honours, in Westminister Abbey." Perhaps the extraneous comma in that sentence might not be as noticeable if Westminster had been spelled correctly. (01:38:15)
Other mistake: When Special Agent Bloom arrives at the beginning of the film, there's a shot of Greenly spraying breath spray into his mouth and while he does this, he's bent over, but in the very next shot, he is standing completely upright.
Other mistake: In the scene where Jenny waits in the car outside an apartment building while David helps a family move into their flat, an older woman looks out of the window of her flat. We see her reflection in the window of the car Jenny waits in. However, the car is standing beyond the corner of the building - there are no windows that could possibly reflect in the car's window.
Other mistake: Meryl is renowned for her accents. But in this film, her accent comes and goes, for example, when she's sitting for her second exam for cordon bleu, her accent is gone completely.
Other mistake: At the end, when Esposito is looking at the piece of paper where he wrote "Temo", he put that paper over the pages of the novel and we see one of the pages. In the third line there is a handwritten "A" over an existing "a" between the words "pAsó" and "ese." In the fourth line there is an existing "a" that's not overwritten in the word "la." But the typewriter had a missing "a", so there should be none in the text.
Other mistake: When Max is reading the note Mary left on the first page of her book, the words Mary speaks continue on the next page, but Max never turns the page.
Other mistake: In the scene where Dillinger and his gang raid a bank and take the bank manager and a teller hostage, they come out shooting with machine guns and jump into and on the running boards of the getaway cars, all through this encounter the bank manager shows no concern for his own safety, no reaction whatsoever to flying bullets and loud gunfire, very strange.
