Trivia: At the end of the movie when Oskar is traveling on the train with Eli inside the trunk, and they are tapping Morse Code on the trunk's lid, they are spelling out "P-U-S-S," which means "small kiss" in Swedish.

Trivia: One of von Tresckow's aides is played by Philipp von Schulthess, the grandson of Claus von Stauffenberg. In the film, Stauffenberg's wife is pregnant with Philipp's mother.

Trivia: In the office at the end of the film a nameplate is visible on one of the cubicle walls. The nameplate reads "J.G Millar" which is a composite of writer Mark Millar and artist J.G. Jones, on whose comic the film is based.

Trivia: While trying to locate Frank via gps, the techie is told to "hack into military satellites" to find him. There is a quick shot of a computer screen with code, and then it looks back at their faces. When paused on the code, you see the words "Command BitTorrent", which is a reference to BitTorrent, a program commonly used to download movies illegally off of the internet. Kind of ironic. Trivia: At one point during the movie, Max visits a storage yard. The name of this yard is "Gognitti Storage". This is a reference to Vinnie Gognitti, who was an important character in the video game series.
