Continuity mistake: In the beginning of Part 3, Ryan Reynolds is on a deserted two-lane highway asking Hope Davis for help. She refuses to help, begins to turn and walk away down the double-yellow center lines of the road. In the next shot, we see her finishing the turn and walking on the edge of the road, by the white line (facing traffic). Continuity mistake: The two protagonists are having a conversation at a long table. Michael Caine sends a bottle of wine rolling across the table. Jude Law opens it and pours. The bottle label now faces him. After Caine says the line "I've never heard of an Italian called Tindale", Milo hasn't moved but the bottle faces the camera now. There's another subtle change in angle and level of the liquid a bit later when Caine says that his wife would get the "Tindelini" last name. (00:09:20)
Continuity mistake: When the druggie tries to make a sale to Carlos the sun changes between shots.
Other mistake: Chris' leg cast was thigh-high. When he got out of bed (and used crutches), his cast was OVER his pants. His pants' leg did not appear to be cut off - it was securely under the cast and never changed despite all the fighting/activity he engaged in. (00:36:22)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Henry is pouring the whiskey into the cups, the bottle is half empty when completed. Next scene Henry is nursing the bottle which is now almost full. (00:06:00)
Continuity mistake: In the last scene of the movie the nurse's scrubs change - first blue with print, then white with print.
Factual error: Although B. B. Rush's wears the rank insignia of a Specialist and he is addressed as Specialist by his interrogator, all the documentation shows his rank as Private First Class.
Continuity mistake: Pickles is killed by multiple stab wounds to the chest and neck, as well as being scalped. But in the scene where Willa finds him, and when he is seen in his body bag, there is not a drop of blood to be seen anywhere on his face or clothes.
Factual error: The Mustang used to take Sylvia to her parents at the circus when she escapes is a 1967. The scene is set in 1965.
Continuity mistake: Jasira is crying in her mothers' arms at the airport. When the mom tells her that it's all her fault, a lady with a patterned open overshirt walks behind their row of seats. Several seconds pass, and when she mentions Chewbacca, the lady is making her appearance in frame again. (00:01:50)
Continuity mistake: While McGahan is leaving the trailer with the widow (after giving his speech on heaven and hell) he closes the door. The next shot of him outside, the door is now wide open.
Revealing mistake: The protagonists just had sex. The lifeline operator chats with him through MSN; notice how the timestamps of the messages do not match at all the time that supposedly elapses, going from 12:56 to 01:00 all of a sudden and even jumping from 01:01 to 01:50.
Other mistake: The film's set in Seattle but was filmed in Canada. This is evidenced by things like a Canadian red striped postal box as well as cars with Canadian license plates.
Continuity mistake: During the September 4, 1977 show at the Masque, Darby cuts a line on his chest with broken glass. The shape and position of the cut changes between shots during and after the show.
