Question: What happened to Byron? He only appears in the first season and disappears without explanation.
Question: Why does Peter use telekinesis to open the vault? Why doesn't he simply phase through?
Chosen answer: Because he's an idiot. From the story point of view, they needed the vault to actually be physically open so that the release of the virus would be a credible threat. Unfortunately, this required that Peter conveniently forget that he could simply walk through The Wall and use his telekinesis to tear the door open instead. Peter's increasingly large arsenal of abilities, where he ended up having pretty much any ability required for any situation, led to a situation where it became necessary to either have Peter apparently forget that he had a given power, as with the vault door scene, or become naively trusting, as with his refusal to scan Adam's mind to confirm his good intent. This problem, which simply made Peter look increasingly dumb as the show progressed, may well have been a key factor in the decision to severely reduce his ability during season three.
Question: Is it true that this show was originally supposed to have only two seasons but its popularity was so big that they created a third season?
Question: When was the affair over between Gwen and Owen?
Answer: Their affair began in series 1, episode 6 ("Countrycide") and ended in episode 11 ("Combat").
Question: I've been re-watching this show, and have noticed this in nearly every episode. In scenes inside GD, there's always one person, a background extra, who seems to have clear plastic wrap over their clothes. Do you know what that is all about?
Chosen answer: It's basically just a type of suit that's made for whatever special project they're working on. No different than a lab coat, hazmat suit, fire coat, etc.
Question: Why don't Amanda and Jessi like each other in the second part of season 2? In the episode "Ghost in the Machine", Jessi was interested in Kyle because Madacorp programmed her to go after him. But why doesn't she like Amanda later on, after she is free from Madacorp?
Answer: Jessi is jealous of how close Amanda is to Kyle. Kyle and Jessi have a psychic link and Jessi feels no one should be closer to Kyle than she is.
Question: The DNA test is a match, but later in the 2-3rd season we discover that Harry (foster father) had an affair with the real mother. Is Harry the real father and takes him but not his brother in because of that or not?

Question: On Law & Order: SVU the character Alex Cabot had to enter the witness protection program. How did they bring her back for the show Conviction?

Question: This episode aired after the chief was fired and after Juliet found out Shawn wasn't a psychic, but the chief is in it and Juliet doesn't know he's faking, so was this episode shot before season 7, and just aired after?
Chosen answer: "Psych: The Musical" was supposed to air during the regular season 7 schedule, before Chief Vick is suspended and Jules discovers Shawn's lie, but the network decided to push it back to air as a special episode, sort of as a tie in with the holiday season and a lead in to season 8, which was to begin only a couple of months later.
Question: What happened to Holly Ellenbogen? She just disappeared from the opening sequence a few episodes ago with no explanation given.
Question: What was the reason that several major American cities were attacked with nuclear weapons?
Answer: According to Wikipedia: "It was a cross-section of 'domestic militia, anarchists, and religious fanatics' – terrorist groups that would never ordinarily collaborate, ideologically or politically. The only thing that connected them was the desire to take down the federal government of the United States. The entire plan was orchestrated by someone with deep resources, an ability to coordinate diverse groups, and by all indications, an American. After someone (believed to be Thomas Valente) tipped off the terrorists about the government's knowledge of the plot, they moved up the timetable for the attacks."
Question: In the episode with Uncle Earl in it, what happened at the end when Miley tried to help him out of the chair?
Question: In a second-season episode Roy wears a cool shirt that simply says 'meh' on it. Has anyone else on another TV show worn this shirt? I've seen it somewhere before but I've never seen the IT Crowd so it's not by Roy. Thanks.
Answer: The shirt is available from www.ThinkGeek.com and is fairly popular in the nerd culture, so it's possible you've seen it in real life or online.
Question: Why does Liz put up with all the craziness? She couldn't quit and work on another show?
Question: Which episode is it that they're going to be shutting down 3 fire stations, and at the end, they decided to turn #5 into a museum?
Answer: Season 8.
Answer: No explanation was given as to why his character disappears. As to the actor who played him, Christopher Poree, this appears to be his only acting credit, and he retired as an actor following his time on the show. There is little online information about his personal or professional life and none that I could find on why he left the show.
