Continuity mistake: Just before the robbery, Jake throws some water bottles and a flashlight over a small mound into the bushes, to hide them from the thieves. But when Mimi later picks them up, they are much closer to the truck, and on the other side of the mound. In fact, the bottles and flashlight would have been in plain sight for the robbers where she picks them up.
Continuity mistake: When Eric and Jake hug right after Johnston dies, first Jake's hands are on Eric's face then on his shoulders and then on his face again switching places after the camera angle breaks.
Rogue River - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the episode when Eric and Jake are riding in the car, Jake asks Eric if the shotgun is loaded, and he says yes. The gun in pointed up towards the roof of the car. The shot changes and the gun is gone, then switches back and it's back on Eric's lap.
Continuity mistake: The second time Stanley puts straw under Jake's head, the hood of Jake's sweatshirt gets pulled back, almost off his head. Cut to a close-up of Jake, and the hood is suddenly pulled all the way up, covering his forehead.
Continuity mistake: After Jake has seen Hawkins through the scope, he lowers it down to his hip in the long shot. Cut to a close-up of Jake, and he is suddenly holding the scope much higher, at shoulder height, without any time to move it back up between shots.
Factual error: When the girls input the thing they call an IP address, it is not an IP address. The numbers are out of range (0-255). This isn't like a "movie" phone number - the address they use is fundamentally impossible. (00:06:05)
Continuity mistake: After the robbers has taken the supplies from the overturned truck, there are several shots of Jake lying on the ground. In these shots the hood of his sweatshirt keeps changing position on his head, even if he is not moving. In the long shot where the black truck takes off, the hood has even gone from his head completely, and all of his hair is exposed. In the next close-up, the hood is pulled up again.
Audio problem: When Hawkins asks Jake if he needs help putting out the third fire, he uses his hand to stop Jake from opening the car door a couple of times. The first time he does this, the thump of his hand is heard a split second before his hand connects with the door.
Black Jack - S1-E13
Continuity mistake: When the truck smashes through the building to escape Black Jack Fairground, a big part of the roof falls down over the car that is following directly behind the truck. As the angle changes, there is suddenly no sign of the fallen roof, neither on the car, inside the building or on the ground next to it.
Rogue River - S1-E8
Continuity mistake: When Gray and Jimmy are questioning the Hawkins family, Jimmy is wearing his brown uniform jacket. But in the scene where Gray is asking if Jimmy can search the house, Jimmy's jacket disappears for an instant, just after Gray has said "Just a question of being thorough". Allison Hawkins makes a remark about this being Kansas, not Soviet Russia, and as the camera comes back to Jimmy, his jacket is back on.
Factual error: In the beginning of the episode, Hawkins' boss tells Hawkins the attacks will occur at 8.05am. Then a shot of children playing in daylight is shown, followed by the text "33 hours before the bombs" and a shot of the city hall in daylight. 33 hours before the bombs would be 11pm.
Suggested correction: The script says they will go off at 8:05, during the President's address. Presidents don't typically give speeches in the AM, they are usually done in the evening. Given the time zone difference, it makes more sense that it was PM - Jericho is supposed to be close to CO border which is MTN zone and 2 hrs behind DC. Plus the bombs go off while the school bus is returning from a field trip and no school is having a field trip at 6:05 AM.
Other mistake: The T.V. begins to work and you see a Chinese man with a map of the United States behind him. The cities that were destroyed were bulls-eyed on the map. Wichita was not bulls-eyed on the map, but Emily seconds later is crying in a car saying that her fiancee is dead because Wichita had been hit and she "saw it on the map."
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode, Jake and the military commander with the nametag "Beck" walk out of the ranch house set which shows a double door from the inside. Once outside on the porch, it's now a single door. (00:06:00)
Continuity mistake: In the pilot episode, Jake mentions that he's 32 years old. In "Federal Response", his passport shows a birth year of 1977, which would make him either 29 or 30. (00:38:45)
Vox Populi - S1-E11
Continuity mistake: When Hawkins is asked for his coordinates on the computer, he types in "compromised. proceed without me.". However, after he hits Enter, on the screen appears "Compromised. Proceed without me."
