Factual error: When asked how many seas the water from the Triton light is from, Huard says eight and is corrected with an answer of seven. The real number is 22.
Factual error: When Izzy urges Tom to watch through the telescope on the rooftop, he just looks and sees the nebula. From space observations done by myself, I know that the earth rotation is so fast that even for this amount of time, a manual correction must be done to center the view again.
Factual error: In the scene where Eric and Chrissie are by the pool, the song "All Right Now" by Free begins to play in the background. The movie is set in July 1969, and this song wasn't released until mid-1970.
Continuity mistake: When Tom is showing his co-workers the video he shot of Wesley eating a hamburger, the video clip is actually of Wesley eating the first hamburger, which happened before Tom started filming him. You can see Tom's reflection in the window, and he's just sitting, not filming anything. (00:32:45)
Continuity mistake: When the Officer David Delinko and The Captain are having some lunch in the seafood restaurant, the cups on the table move about between shots during the scene.
Continuity mistake: When Helena is fighting all the guards on the staircase, there are knocked out guards and a samurai sword lying directly behind her foot. In the next shot, they are all to the side so that Helena can run down the steps.
Plot hole: When Ashima's brother calls up Ashoke to inform him about the demise of Ashima's father, his head is shown as shaven. It is just the following day after the death of the father, as he himself declares. However according to Bengali customs, the hair is not shaven off until the thirteenth day after the death of a father.
Continuity mistake: When Felicia and Brenda run into Lorraine behind the Armstrong homes, Lorraine pushes between them and walks a few steps. In the next shot, when she turns to say, "You stay away from my child," she is suddenly in Brenda's face, but in the following shot she is about ten feet away when she resumes walking. (00:48:30)

Other mistake: In the scene where Marnie's mother is in the Supermarket paying for her groceries and complaining about Marnie never calling. To pay, she swipes her debit card but has it turned the wrong way with the black magnetic strip up. She then enters her pin number and gets her receipt. Continuity mistake: When Paul (the hotel manager) finds Timmons in the kitchen when Timmons had been shot and is bleeding, we see Timmons with his hands on his blood that is on his shirt. When Paul comforts him, he puts his bloody hands on Paul's white shirt, but when we see Paul outside the hotel, there is no stain from Timmon's blood.
Factual error: When Chris is running from the cabbie he jumps into a train, and in the process gets his scanner stuck in the door, which he loses hold of as the train begins to move. BART trains will not move unless all doors are secure, so this could not have happened. (00:30:00)
Continuity mistake: The crescent-shaped scar which bisects the protagonist's right eyebrow in many scenes appears instead on the left eyebrow in many others. Same size and shape, but looking as if photo-reversed; for instance, when his face appears from the darkness to sniff over the shoulder of the red-haired girl, the scar is in the right eye-brow. But during the scene in the plaza before a huge crowd (the hanging scene) the scar is over his left eye.
Continuity mistake: At the very beginning of the movie, when Kim Basinger is in the bedroom and walking towards the mirror, the movements of her reflection do not match her movements. She stops moving and her reflection continues to move. (00:04:25)
Continuity mistake: In the garage scene, 02 pulls a pistol from the guy he beat to the floor and stuffs it into his pants quickly as his girl starts trying to kick the guy on the floor. when he stuffed the pistol into his pants the grip was pointing to his right pocket. With the quick struggle the shot changes back to the pistol in his pants and now the grip is pointing towards his left pocket, and no one touched it.
