Revealing mistake: In the scene where Stripes is looking in the water at his reflection, his body and the reflection don't quite match up. You can tell by his movements that his reflection is computer generated. (This is verified by the audio commentary.)
Continuity mistake: When Mr Alfred steps into the dog poo, it is on the front part of his shoe. As he shows this shoe to Preacher, it is now in the middle.
Continuity mistake: When Ron is showing Eric the lunchroom, Eric points to Kim and says" Who's that?" We see Kim getting her lunch in a blue tee shirt and brown pants. Ron and Eric sit down. Kim joins them, now she is wearing a red tee shirt and grey pants, however.
Continuity mistake: When Holly is bathing Zoe, the bubbles keep disappearing and reappearing during different consecutive shots.
Visible crew/equipment: When Calvin is getting pulled up the hill by his dog. He is still on his skateboard and going up a grass hill. You can totally tell he is riding on much bigger wheels than he was before. Therefore the wheels need to be bigger so they can go up the hill.
Continuity mistake: When Granny uses her solo ski as a snowboard the ski becomes much bigger on its own.
Continuity mistake: When Minty arrives at the North Pole in a balloon, she passes Santa's house twice.
Continuity mistake: After Train transports everyone across the narrow bridge over the lava, he slouches down to the ground in relief. In the next shot he is standing straight, looking normal.
Continuity mistake: When Valiant flies down the gun barrel, he takes off his backpack and helmet, and he lays them down in the barrel before squeezing through the back of the gun. When he comes back out through the gun with the other birds, the backpack and helmet are not there.
Visible crew/equipment: Upon landing in the U.S., the scammers exit their jet. As the action proceeds, on the plane's tail can just barely be seen the logo of the Indianapolis Colts football team. (In fact, the plane used for the movie does belong to the Colts.)
Other mistake: When Dorthy is trying to audition for the Muppet's the man says they are gone and the Muppet's bus pulls up. If you look when the bus is pulling up there is no one in it, even the driver seat is empty. Then a few seconds after the bus stops Kermit and Miss. Piggy come walking out.
Continuity mistake: Just before the Breeders Cup the horse is upset and Kurt Russell puts his hands on either side of her face to see what she is "thinking". First his fingers are practically in her eyeball and when the shot changes his hand is back by her jaw. This happens to quickly to be a natural movement.
Revealing mistake: Very obvious stunt double when Dennis Quaid's character falls off the forklift into the kiddie pool at the hardware store.
Continuity mistake: A penguin uses binoculars rotated at a 90 degree angle, but the shot of the view through them is composed as if they were being used normally (horizontally level).
Continuity mistake: When Alice and Trixie get home after work, in a closeup Trixie is wearing her coat but in a wide shot her coat is suddenly off, and is in her hands.
Continuity mistake: In the basketball game near the start of the movie the scoreboard showed 4.5 seconds to the end of the game. Several seconds go by including a successful basket being made. Then a time out is called. The scoreboard clock should have already run out but still showed 2.5 seconds to go.
Plot hole: About two thirds of the way into the film, Gina comes running into Montebello's to talk to Joe, while Joe bursts into Prestolani's to confront Gina. Of course, in typical romantic comedy fashion, they just miss each other. However, the two pizzerias are directly next to each other, and both characters were using the front doors. Therefore, there is no way that they could possibly have missed each other.
Revealing mistake: In the scene when the coach's friend (priest) also played by Martin Lawrence is praying with the team. Every time it shows the back of the coach's head in line with the front of the priest's head it has noticeably less hair than Martin Lawrence and you can tell it is a stand in.
Continuity mistake: When Annika and Shiver are trapped in Ollie's pan, Annika's purple hair ribbon disappears in a few shots.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Azura is brought to Laverna, it shows only 4 of the guardians at first, 3 seats empty. The next time it shows all the guardians in their chairs, there are then 6 there, with only one chair remaining, for Azura. (00:31:40 - 00:32:25)
