Trivia: When Van Helsing is fighting Dracula towards the end as a werewolf, he stops to get out his claws. This is an obvious reference to Wolverine, whom Hugh Jackman played in both "X-Men" movies.
Trivia: When Scooby and Shaggy are at a club, Shaggy talks to Mr. Wickles. He says something about Scooby's nose. The man who is sitting next to Scooby is Neil Fanning, the man who does the voice of Scooby-Doo.
Trivia: The mysterious new leader of the flying daggers never actually appears because that role was intended for actress/ singer Anita Mui, who resigned the (impending) filming due to ill health two weeks before dying of cancer. Out of respect Zhang Yimou didn't replace her with another actress and the film is dedicated to her memory.
Trivia: Unlike popular belief, this was never meant to be the "last Godzilla movie ever." This was merely meant to be an anniversary and a last Godzilla movie for at least 10 years, maybe even more. The director of the movie even expressed interest in how the future generations would treat the King of the Monsters in future movies.
Trivia: This film is actually the second version of "Exorcist: The Beginning" to be filmed and completed. But upon seeing the first version, the studio protested the film was based too much on the characters and wasn't the gore-fest they wanted, so they hired a new director and reshot the entire movie with a different script. The original version of the movie was recently released on video as "Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist."
Trivia: In the opening scenes of the movie there are several massive statues representing necromongers. These statues are also in the film Batman. They are right in front of the building when the goons announce that they will be running Jack Palance's company.

Trivia: In the English dub of the film, Anna Paquin voices Ray Steam, Alfred Molina voices Edward (Ray's father) and Patrick Stewart voices Lloyd (Ray's grandfather). The three also share another connection in real-life. Paquin and Stewart co-starred in all three "X-Men" films, which were created by Marvel, and Molina starred in another popular Marvel comic-turned-film, when he appeared as the villain in "Spider-Man 2."
Trivia: When Crichton talks to "Harvey" (Scorpius in his head) for the first time in the movie, Scorpius is dressed like Einstein. There is a blackboard with equations on it. One of them is "e = MC hammer". (00:21:30)
