Continuity mistake: When Juliet Luis is cleaning the windshield in the beginning of the movie, she moves to the passenger side and wets the window. The next shot she is talking to Sharon Stone and the windshield is dry.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Veronica is sitting at her computer working and her husband is upset with her, she disconnects her headphones from the stereo, pulls them off, and puts them around her neck. When she stands up and starts dancing to the music, they're on her head and she pulls them off again.
Continuity mistake: As Mick Molloy and his partner chase the dead Magistrate's car through the shops you can see the night sky through the glass roof, even though seconds before you see that outside is a bright sunny day.
Continuity mistake: When Anthony Hopkins first gives Nicole Kidman a ride to her place, it is raining outside. When he gets out of the car to go inside, the entire windshield is dry and clean as a whistle, even the area that is outside the reach of the wiperblades.
Continuity mistake: After Candy is told about the internet video, Fred puts her blindfold back on. Her hair, which was hanging down in her face, is now pressed tightly against her eyes under the blindfold. The camera angle then changes and now we see a close up of Candy and her face (with the blindfold still on) is instantly hair free, brushed back neatly behind her ears instead.
Continuity mistake: When young Ichi is tied up, having baseballs hurled at him, when the last ball is thrown, you can see he puts his arms up to protect himself, but in the next shot they are down again.
Continuity mistake: In the final wedding scene in the tent, both the father of the bride and the father of the groom walk in looking fresh and dry, not looking at all like they had just hopped off a jetski and been hit with a large wave.
Continuity mistake: When we see Aimée painting for the first time she is sitting at the kitchen table. When the camera cuts to a close-up of the picture it's quite different from the one in the wide shot. (00:23:20)
Continuity mistake: When Tom plays checkers with Bill and makes his last, winning move, there's a cut to a wide angle where the pieces on the board are arranged differently. (00:08:20)
Continuity mistake: When Marie is in the back of the van taking the chains of Alex, Alex picks up the knife and it is obviously bent. Once the chains are off and Alex puts the knife up to Marie to defend herself the blade is straight, and stays that way even when "the killer" takes it out of his chest.
Continuity mistake: When Adrian is in his car, a thug climbs in and makes him drive at gunpoint. At one point, Adrian drives the car off route from where the thug wanted him to go, and he struggles briefly, throwing the gun at the window and shattering it. However, at the end of the chase, Adrian jumps out and runs away, and there's a quick shot of the thug opening his door and giving chase - and the window is fully intact now.
Continuity mistake: (On the DVD) In the scene where Julianne took the key off the necklace rope of Mitch, in the next several shots you will see Julianne hold a key with the rope still attached.
Continuity mistake: When Shintaro is shot in his leg you see him lying on the football and there is no blood on the ball. Then it cuts for a brief second to another kid, then back and now the ball is suddenly covered in blood. (00:21:20)
Continuity mistake: When the family first discover the pram on the road after Brad has been killed, its position on the road changes between the first angle and the second angle from the car. Note the wheels and the yellow line. (00:26:25)
Continuity mistake: Near the end, when Oh Dae Su is fighting with Lee Woo Jin's bodyguard Mr. Han, the latter flips Dae Su repeatedly until Dae Su very swiftly jabs Han in the ear with a pair of scissors, the blades of which are pointing upward from his fist. Han flips Dae Su one more time and that's when he feels the injury. He looks down on Dae Su and spots the scissors on his hand, but this time the blades are pointing downward from his fist.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning, The Statement is being typed on a manual typewriter and the name Pierre Brossard is underlined except for the letter P. The next time we see The Statement, the letter P is now underlined. There is only one copy.
Continuity mistake: When John Gacy hands a joint to the young guy he's picked up on the corner, the joint is nearly finished. When the young guy hands it back, it's almost a full joint.
