Trivia: When Tracy is spinning on the playground equipment in the final scene, she is wearing the clothes that Evie wore when they went to the neighbor lifeguard Luke's house. This may be a call back to her missing Evie after she left or a representation of how Tracy's style changed over time. Also, when Tracy wakes up next to Mel in the end she looks disappointed. And I have come to think that she is upset because she wanted to wake up next to Evie again. (00:49:51 - 01:34:51)
Trivia: The Attorney General in the final scenes with the cowboy hat and round sunglasses is the stunt coordinator. The director gave him a small part to say thank you for his contribution to the film.
Trivia: Nicole Kidman played all her own piano for this movie.
Trivia: In scene 32, Katsumoto and Algren ride through the line of troops and as Algren dismounts, his horse kicks out at the soldier to the right of the camera and hits him in the groin. The soldier bends over with the impact, backs up, then bravely straightens up again as the scene continues. (01:53:55)
Trivia: Helena Bonham Carter, who plays the grown up version of Jenny (from the town of Spectre), also plays the witch. She was at the time in a relationship with and eventually married director Tim Burton from 2001-2014.
Trivia: Filming of this movie took only eighteen days.
Trivia: The saddle worn by Seabiscuit for some of his races is, in fact, the same saddle worn by Phar Lap, who was Australia's, if not the world's, greatest racehorse ever. Billy Elliot, who rode Phar Lap to victory in the Agua Caliente (the world's richest horserace at the time), gave the saddle to George Woolf after Phar Lap died (under mysterious circumstances) in California.
Trivia: No digital- or special effects were used in the film. The actors were in the water with real live sharks.
Suggested correction: You can see the edges of the pool the actors are in when there are "ships" on the horizon.

Trivia: Director Tommy Wiseau shot the film using a dual camera-rig. He shot the film on both a 35mm film camera and an (at the time) new HD movie-camera, both mounted to the same rig so they could more-or-less get similar angles, as he didn't quite understand the differences in the mediums and wanted to experiment shooting the film with both simultaneously.
Trivia: Any viewers outside of Britain might not get the joke when Billy Mack isn't sure which one is Ant or Dec. They are very well known in the UK, and dominate Saturday night telly. The joke refers to the fact that even though they are popular, a lot of people don't know which one's which.
Trivia: Bitsey and the intern are staying at the Randolph Motel. Randolph is the last name of the writer of the movie.

Trivia: There is one error in the Tag Team race: the street is not that long. (I should know, because my dad works on that street.) In the movie, it took a little while to finish getting down that street which was unbelievable, especially at the speed they were going. In reality, if you were to race down that street from where they started (without turning back) it would take you an estimated eight to nine seconds.
