Deliberate mistake: When MIB agents exit the lift to get into the main hall of the MIB Office, the lift opens halfway up the wall and they need to go down a little platform. But when K and J return during the lockdown and face the trashcan with guns, the lift opens at floor level, so it can be conveniently peppered with bullets. (01:02:05)
Suggested correction: The building is in lockdown so it is no surprise that the lift is changed to a less flamboyant version. Even in the first scene, there are some doors there.
Deliberate mistake: In the scene after the Helm's Deep battle, when Aragorn meets Eowyn, the earlier footage of Aragorn's return to Helm's Deep is used. He has the wound on his shoulder and is dressed like he was during the 'falling' episode. The background (people in the fortress walking calmly) also indicates that this takes place before the battle. This scene should immediately follow the one where Aragorn is greeted by Gimli ("you are the most reckless man I ever knew"). Confirmed on cast commentary, extended DVD. (02:45:20)
Deliberate mistake: When Alexander is travelling to the future for the first time, it shows a speedy acceleration of the events around him. However, the planes that are seen flying by are moving at normal speeds, or at least speeds way too slow since they should be moving too fast to even see, since skyscrapers are being built in a matter of seconds.
Deliberate mistake: When Bond is fighting Zhao in the clinic, they accidentally set off the tomograph Zhao was lying in. As this machine's powerful magnetic fields indeed would pull any metallic object in, no doctor with common sense would allow sharp objects and other stuff within range. You aren't even allowed to carry watches and have to report any dental fillings. (00:43:50)
Deliberate mistake: When Chosen One is dancing in front of Betty, take a look at Betty's face. There is a moment in which the face of the double playing Betty is visible.
Deliberate mistake: Although the first account of what happened in Zhao isn't completely true, the arrows penetrating the calligraphy school are sometimes flying at angles that make their trajectory impossible, such as arrows flying perpendicular to the ground or even flying upward.
Deliberate mistake: When the lady is supposedly in the water with the crocodile, you can see that it isn't her. It is actually Steve in a fat suit and wig.
Deliberate mistake: In countless shots showing Japanese, and some shots showing Americans, being shot, take notice of the ground that they stand on. Almost every time a bullet(s) will hit below them at their feet, yet they still fall dead. In some shots even, there is a continuous line of shots from a single shooter, hitting the ground, yet numerous Japanese soldiers fall dead.
Deliberate mistake: During the last assault against the hill, a duo of helicopters is mowing down the Vietnamese soldiers with miniguns. In one shot, you can see one chopper coming up behind a tree, all guns blazing. However, the tree, which is in the way of the helicopters right side minigun, remains totally untouched, although, looking at the carnage the guns do to the Vietnamese soldiers, it should have been reduced to toothpicks. (01:51:00)
Deliberate mistake: When the woman is attempting to escape from the elevator, it dislodges and falls down, so then the actress is facing the ground...but when her arm hits the floor, the floor itself bends. If you watch the DVD with the commentary on, the director points out that it was a break away floor in case the actress' head accidentally snapped forward, to avoid any injury. (00:08:00)
Deliberate mistake: In many scenes bullets are shown striking things and sparking (this is especially visible on the attack on Knockout Ned's house when a bullet strikes a chair and gives off a huge spark of light). In real life, only special bullets with incendiary materials (meant for starting fires) cause sparks, and this is only when they're fired against metallic objects. It is impossible that a bullet striking a chair would give off a spark.
Deliberate mistake: When asked about the effects of a gas attack on a village in Russia, the president is told that the effects were similar to end stage cerebral palsy. One major problem - cerebral palsy is a chronic condition, not acute. The condition itself is not fatal.
Deliberate mistake: When Mr. Roboto is offering Austin a mushroom, the subtitles lead Austin to think Mr. Roboto is asking him to eat some shit, until Foxy reveals more of the subtitles to say "Please eat some shitake mushrooms." The correct spelling for this kind of mushroom is "shiitake." They had to cheat on the spelling in order to make the joke work.
Deliberate mistake: Early in the movie someone fires an RPG, and, when he does, they show him comically being flung back through the air by some kind of supposed recoil effect. RPGs are rockets shooting out of tubes with the blast going backwards, so the holder of the tube themselves experiences no recoil.
Deliberate mistake: During the fight at the Unity Day Festival, at one point Goblin is confronted by some cops and beats them up. Watch closely... you can tell that the first and second shots are just different takes of the same stunt from a different camera angle. Goblin's movies are exactly the same (except slightly faster in the second shot), and you can also tell it's the exact same two cops he's hitting. They tried to artificially lengthen the scene by showing two slightly different takes of the stunt.
