Factual error: Basinger's husband (Vincent Perez) is wounded by a buffalo while hunting. Not yet completely recovered, Perez come out his house in the savannah limping with a gun in his hand. He says to a worried Basinger, (more or less... I saw the Italian version): "I go and kill that buffalo, before he attacks someone else!" That sentence is absolutely ridiculous (as the whole movie!): 1) In Kenya there are thousands and thousands of buffalos, undistinguishable, how can Perez find his particular buffalo? 2) In spite of his harmless look, buffalo is surely the most dangerous animal in Africa! Attacking men is in the nature of every buffalo. Will Perez shoot all buffalos in East Africa?
Revealing mistake: When Roro is fighting Yasmin's brother in the car, he uses the handbrake, and the angle change to view from the top. You can then see a lot skid marks on the road where they did this stunt in previous takes.
Character mistake: Wilhelm Keitel was a field marshal, not an admiral as stated during the sentencing.
Continuity mistake: When Marie was in France, she walked around in her living room at night and took a knife from a basket and saw Aaron's reflection on it. She was frightened and dropped it. When she crouched down to pick it up, it changed into a pair of scissors.
Continuity mistake: In that whole "arousing my curiosity" scene, in one shot Neil is wearing yellow gloves, but in the next shot of him, his hands are bare.
Audio problem: When the illusionist-type person fires the toy pop-gun in the beginning, rather that making the traditional "pop" noise, it makes the sound of a pistol and silencer.
Other mistake: Sophie calls her Swedish colleague "Captain Perrson", however the rank on his shoulder say lieutenant colonel in the Swedish air force.
Other mistake: When Gino gets shot and killed, the gun that shoots him isn't being held at quite the right angle... the way it's aimed, the bullet should have gone to the right of him, but instead he reacts as though he's been hit in the head. (Given it's a super low budget movie, they probably just didn't have enough time or money for a second take).
Continuity mistake: The barn-door scene: Mac's drinking from a beer bottle when Susan backs into him to tell him how to braid her hair. He puts both hands upon her hair. The camera pans back showing them and there's no sign of the beer bottle he's just held.
Factual error: At the beginning of the movie, when we see the hero wandering the empty streets of south Tel-Aviv, the sharp front tip of a modern scooter can be seen behind the street corner. The movie takes place in 1973, when the only scooters were Piaggio Vespa, which have a distinct round front wheel cover.
Continuity mistake: Tadpole gets out out of the taxi. The bumper color of the taxi is not the same color before and after he exits. (00:04:00)
Continuity mistake: When Tigger and Roo are having tea with Owl, Tigger empties the sugar bowl into his tea to make it tastier. When Tigger shakes hands with Owl to thank him, all the sugar from his cup has now gone back into the bowl.
Factual error: In the epilogue text, the movie claims that author William S. Burroughs "got a good lawyer, claimed that the gun discharged accidentally, and was absolved of Joan Vollmer's killing." This is patently untrue, as is most of the content of the film. In point of fact, Burroughs was arrested for the shooting of Joan Vollmer (his common-law wife), he gave wildly conflicting accounts of the incident to police, and he spent two weeks in the Mexico City jail before making bail. Burroughs was ordered to remain in Mexico City and report to authorities once a week, which he did for a year, pending his trial. When his "good lawyer" also shot somebody and fled the country, Burroughs fled back to the USA to escape prosecution in Mexico. A Mexican court found Burroughs guilty of manslaughter (in absentia). He was never "absolved" of the killing.
Other mistake: Either there was or wasn't a 5-year contract from the onset. At first, Sherwood told Bob, "It's just a pilot episode. If we get picked up for a series." Narrator Barry Williams said his agent called to tell him "the network picked up the Brady Bunch for a full season." Season One ended but Sherwood didn't call "until the last minute" to tell the cast they "would be coming back to a second season." Later, Sherwood told Bob that he knew when he did the pilot that he signed a 5-year contract. (00:05:50 - 00:21:40)
Suggested correction: Those two things are not mutually exclusive and that's not how it works in the television industry. Actors usually have to sign a test option agreement with the studio prior to the pilot being picked up (sometimes even before auditioning). This ensures the studio that the actor is committed to the project long term should the pilot be picked up, but signing the contract agreement doesn't guarantee the pilot will be picked up. A 5-year test option agreement seems pretty standard.
I'm aware of such contracts - and surely Florence Henderson would have also been required to sign a five-year agreement, but there (conveniently) was no mention of this.
Continuity mistake: When the Young Gangster and Freddie Mays go to see Lennie Taylor, after the guys have beat the man up with the golf clubs, Freddie and Young Gangster get out of the car and start to walk up the street. Young Gangster is walking behind, then moves to walk beside Freddie. When the camera changes to show them from the front, he does it again.
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene when Claire is walking into the red fishing barn after leaving Silly's house, you can see crew members in the crack of the door on the left side. (00:35:45)
Character mistake: Sam and Maurey were watching TV news coverage of Kennedy's assassination (11/22/63). When Petey got home (around 12:05 PM MST), he tried to change the channel, then said, "Mom, Maurey won't let me watch 'Rocky'." Laurabel/Mom said, "You know he watches 'Rocky' every afternoon." But school was let out early due to the assassination, so Petey would normally be in school at noon and therefore not be able to watch "Rocky" at that time in the afternoon. (00:21:30 - 00:23:17)
