Other mistake: When Brad gets hit by a car, the car passes by a window, but there's no reflection of the car in the window.
Other mistake: When the Musketeers are charging the firing squad at the end, they only have about 20 yards to run which they should cover in just a couple seconds, but somehow it takes them much longer to reach the other men. This is especially noticeable since they're running at full speed. (This has nothing to do with editing or slow-motion, as most of the shots are shown in real time, at regular speed.)
Other mistake: In the scene at the kitchen table where the New York analyst is suggesting ways for Jack Stanton to deny the allegations he has impregnated a teenage black woman, to the staff he says, "We can go on Montel or Geraldo or some show like that." Only his mouth doesn't say "Montel." He is saying "Oprah," but has been dubbed in post-production to say Montel.
Other mistake: When a Japanese newspaper is shown publicizing Jackie's performance, the headline above the photo actually reported that the Japanese budget had been approved by parliament.
Other mistake: Just as Cooper dives through an open window to escape the security guard, the window falls, causing him to crash through the glass. There is nothing in the area that could have affected the window, and no reason it should have fallen, other than for effect. (00:43:00)
Other mistake: Phillip Baker Hall sends Chris Tucker to meet with the FBI immediately after he tells the agent on the phone that he will be sending someone over to them right away. Chris is told by the FBI guy that Jackie Chan's plane arrives in one hour. After Chris picks up Jackie from the airport, he calls his boss to vent his concern. This is supposedly the same day, but both Phillip and Elizabeth Pena are wearing different outfits.
Other mistake: In the scene where Emily is throwing away all of Steve's stuff, she discards a disco ball, commenting, "Who decorates like this anyway?". But, later in the film, when Steve and Emily are in bed choosing college courses, there is a disco ball (like the one Emily discarded earlier) at the top of the bed. Wouldn't she have thrown that one away too?
Suggested correction: Emily wants to marry herself into the family quickly. It's possible that Steve insisted on keeping the disco ball and she decided to deal with it later, after the wedding.
Other mistake: When Ben Affleck is helping the play actors rehearse a dance and Gwyneth Paltrow starts dancing the woman's part (even though she's supposed to be a man), Ben Affleck yells, "Are you a lady, MISTER Kent?" instead of "Master Kent," as men are all referred to throughout the film.
Other mistake: When Jude Law and the police officer are walking to the officer's car, Jude asks the officer if he is married. Why is it he asks this? Earlier on in the film, at the police station, the officer told Jude that his wife gave him that very same necklace.
Other mistake: In the final battle where the two rangers are waiting for Upham to bring them 30cal ammo, they fire their rifles through a hole in the wall. At one point two German soldiers are seen dying from the same shot, even though they are at least five meters (about sixteen feet) apart.
Other mistake: When Ben surprises Isabel by hiding in the kitchen cabinet, he is in a deeper cabinet, but when Isabel takes him out of the cabinet it is no longer deep enough that Ben could fit inside of it. (00:02:55)
Other mistake: After Gwyneth Paltrow gives birth to her baby in Jessica Lang's room, the bottom half of her dress and part of the mattress is soaked in blood. A blanket is thrown over her to cover the sight by Lang when her husband walks in. He seems to have stayed there all night without having smelled it.
Other mistake: In the beginning of the movie, the Russians are watching the race. Some of them are sitting in a van and getting commands in Russian. One of them says "Ed' tuda", (Drive there). That should be "Ezjaj tuda".
Other mistake: In the scene where Marlon Wayans is in the store after getting his clothes taken by the homeless guy, he goes in the suit store and he is supposed to be naked, but you can see the side of the black underwear that he has on when he faces the salesman.
Other mistake: There's a scene where James films his and Veronica's amorous activities for use as Shelmikedmu mating ritual videos. While she is dancing, we see him slip behind a curtain to turn on the camera. Later on, we see the footage being played on a store's display TV's. Much of the footage shown is of her dancing BEFORE he turned on the hidden camera. And because of the angle of the shot, you can see that it wasn't taken by a different camera.
Other mistake: Mari said she had a shag in a Chevy, but it is an Oldsmobile.
Other mistake: Gary Sinise is in the hotel hallway and sees various characters going into different rooms. The camera goes over the top of the wall and we see him from above as he enters a room. The camera continues to track into the room perpendicular to the hallway. Eventually the camera passes over the back wall of Sinise's room and we begin to see these other characters in their rooms. This is impossible, these rooms are not behind his but on either side.
Other mistake: In the credits, the name of the lead character, Reed Buccholz (pronounced as "Buckles"), played by Alex Erkiletian, is listed as 'Reed Bucchoiz'.
Other mistake: In the opening credits, they are putting make-up on Gia who we later find out is dead. They show a close-up of Angelina Jolie's eyes and her lids are shaking because she is trying to keep them open.
Other mistake: In a prison scene quite early in the film, Patrick Swayze's character is seen playing the 'final move' in a chess game against the warden. As he moves his piece he says, "check mate" but if you look closely and if you have any knowledge of chess you will notice that it is not check mate at all.
