Continuity mistake: In the same shot, note the top of the twin towers are in the clouds - its not a real nice day in NYC. But later when they're on the dock, there's not a cloud to be seen.
Continuity mistake: The morning after the party at Steven's, Chip is at Steven's house making eggs for them, watch closely as Chip eats. While they are talking about Heather being a prostitute, Chip repeatedly loses the eggs off his fork, but continues to put the fork in his mouth, and makes a sound like he is actually eating the eggs. He does it about 4 or 5 times during their whole conversation. (00:50:35)
Revealing mistake: From the front view of Karen's gun, you can see empty chambers.
Other mistake: When the general passes the clipboard to the President to sign the nuclear release, the clipboard is actually upside-down. (00:55:55)
Continuity mistake: Towards the end, Danny Aiello fires at James Spader, and we see a brief close-up of the door frame being hit - there are two bullet holes seen in the door - one above and just to the left of the other. Then we cut away, and when we cut back and see James Spader looking around the door frame, there's just one bullet hole.
Continuity mistake: Before Bonnie's operation to remove her scars they can be seen across her back and down one arm, yet in at least two scenes before the operation she is seen wearing sleeveless or very short sleeved tops with no scars visible.
Continuity mistake: Liam Neeson pulls his jeep over on the side of the road, he and his son get out. Blinker is on. They walk around and talk for a little bit, and all the sudden the blinker's off.
Other mistake: Carolyn Stilton shoots Blondie O'Hara in the head and is lying dead over her dead husband. Just before the final scene starts she begins to open her eye.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Alec Baldwin and Demi Moore are in the car and he's threatening to run over her son, who is riding a bike in front of them, Alec swerves at the last minute, and Demi looks over her right shoulder and collapses in relief, but in the next shot, she's looking over her left shoulder, collapsed in relief. Continuity mistake: When William Petersen is on a cordless phone at work, he says "the guy gives me the creeps and the girl is my daughter." As he does, the phone cord appears, and the phone's position changes as he hangs it up.
Revealing mistake: When Tisean has just died and Stoney is getting out the car, Tisean is still breathing.
Continuity mistake: John Smith's guns can hold about six dozen bullets apiece.
Visible crew/equipment: Outside the chapel, when Frank backs into the pedestal the statue begins to topple over. In the shot facing up, as the pedestal falls and Frank puts his arms out to catch the statue, the wires used in this stunt are perfectly visible. (01:35:05)
Continuity mistake: In the final battle scene between Geena Davis and Craig Beirko, Beirko's character slashes Davis' character across the stomach (upper right hand side). In the next shot, the wound is located on the lower left side and in a subsequent shot, the wound has multiplied to become two wounds: one in the upper right hand side and a second in the lower left hand side.
Continuity mistake: When Campbell and Cole are inside the Chinese herbal-like shop, the woman behind the counter offers Campbell a drink. When he goes to drink it he holds the cup with two hands but in the following shot he's holding it with only his right hand. (00:14:05)

Other mistake: Early in the movie when Shale is screening the commercial for his "services," the rolling text describing his abilities lists "Helicopter Repelling" instead of "Helicopter Rapelling".
Continuity mistake: Early in the film, Michael talks to Harry Boland on a boat. During this scene, a cigarette appears in Boland's mouth that was not in the previous shot. (00:40:40)
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film, as Aaron/Roy reveals his deception to Martin, notice the jail cell 'door' behind Martin. During the majority of the scene the door is closed, but in a couple of shots it is wide open.
Revealing mistake: Hamlet is killed and in the next scene is being carried with his arms stiff to his sides. The men carrying him go over a bump, jolting Hamlet, and he blinks.
