Other mistake: When Michelle Pfieffer hands out menus for the restaurant in the class, they all read them out loud in English. Then when she takes Raul there, he says he can't read it because it's in French.
Continuity mistake: After Alice is knocked over by the paperboy she goes inside where Carol is pouring sugar in her coffee. Watch the amount of sugar in the container increase when the camera angle changes.
Continuity mistake: Jack Lemmon puts the cat in Walter's truck. We see a close up of the cat's paws scratching holes in the car seat. A long shot shows the cat picking at the seat again, but there are no holes in the seat anymore.
Continuity mistake: At the time they were all little kids, the veteran from the war (Brendan Fraser) gave them cigarettes. When the girls were leaving, Teeny took one last puff and stopped it out, in the next shot she throws down the cigarette again and steps on it. (00:45:20)
Continuity mistake: During the sales trip the two main characters stop at a gas station to get gas. during this stop Tommy bends the door back and after some struggle gets it to the normal door position. Before Richard gets back to the car however there is a shot of the door all dented up but in place. When Richard pulls the door off it falls to the ground and there isn't a single dent on it. (Also, is it me or does it seem a little ridiculous that someone that loves his car so much didn't notice the large dent down the edge of the door as he faced it while walking from the station to the car?)
Factual error: When Lovell's daughter is complaining that the Beatles have broken up, she slams the album Let It Be into her rack. The scene takes place on the day of the initial explosion aboard Apollo 13, April 13 1970 - immediately prior to the Lovell family attending the screening of a television broadcast from the spacecraft. Let It Be was not released as an album until May 9th, 1970. In April Ringo was still recording drum tracks, not even possible for an advance copy to get out.
Continuity mistake: When they are arguing in his bedroom, her scarf and coat are closed at one point, then open, then closed.
Continuity mistake: When Dredd is talking to Hershey in her wrecked apartment the cut above his eye runs across his eyelid but later on when he's talking with Rico in the Janus lab the cut follows his eyebrow and doesn't touch his eyelid.
Plot hole: When Morgan and her Slave/New Boyfriend are escaping from the burning ship, which is going to explode any second, they emerge onto the deck, run up a flight of stairs, cross the deck to the stern rail, look about themselves, then dive overboard. They know the ship is about to explode and are desperate to get overboard. The railings are about a metre away from the hatch they emerge from in the first place - why not just jump overboard there?
Other mistake: The Magic Eye Picture that Willem is looking at throughout the movie is NOT a sailboat. If you pause the movie and find the image it's actually three rows of 3D shapes.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, Nix threatens young Dorthea with a real madrill, but that's all we see of it. It's never shown being put away, and it's not there when Swann and his crew break in to incapacitate Nix.
Visible crew/equipment: During the battle against the dinosaur skeleton, you can see a SFX guy in one shot as the creature whips its head around. He is on the left edge of the screen, standing partially in the frame and visible for nearly a full second.
Visible crew/equipment: During the fight between the Rippers and the guards at Water and Power, you can see the stunt wire attached to one of the Rippers.
Continuity mistake: In the final scene in which a man is shot in the airport (part of this scene actually recurs throughout the movie), the psychiatrist woman leans over him to hold him as he dies. From one angle, he reaches up to her face and his hand is clean. In the next angle, his hand is covered in blood as he touches her face.
Continuity mistake: When the bad guys try and kill Antonio Banderas in the bookstore, after killing about the third bad guy, you can clearly see his gun lock on an empty chamber, but there's a cut and he immediately carries on shooting.
Revealing mistake: When Chris Tucker is found dead from an apparent heroin overdose, you can see him still breathing on the chair.
Continuity mistake: When Gloria is confronting her "baby's daddy", her earrings keep disappearing and reappearing.
Continuity mistake: When the soccer coach is talking to the team in the class room she pulls down the world map on the screen. The camera flips back to the team for about 2 seconds and when the camera turns back to the coach the screen is pulled up.
Continuity mistake: Near the beginning, when Ethan Hawke is talking about his travels while in the lounge car ("I had a friend in Madrid"), he's got his hands clasped in front of him, then the camera cuts to the woman, and his hand is outstretched, holding a salt cellar.
